About Black Bear Wine and Words
Black Bear Wine and Words is a lovely place with a relaxing atmosphere and great ambience. The owner is awesome, nice, and the sweetest. The wine is delicious and there are plenty of books. It is the perfect place for a little afternoon joy. The tavern upstairs is a blast. Many visitors highly recommend it and will definitely come back, making it a great stop when visiting the area.

We stopped to charge our car and popped in here. Wine AND books? We're in! The owner was great but his dog stole the show. We were able to sample several wines and purchased some of them. The prices were pretty reasonable for a specialty shop. We'll definitely be returning.

This was a refreshing hidden gem to find in Deep Creek. The wine selection is excellent, and the environment was very friendly. They took real care in finding the right wine for me, which, let's be frank, you often don't get these days.
This will absolutely be my go-to stop for wine in Deep Creek from now on.

Hopefully I’m recalling his name correctly but Tommy was exceptionally helpful. My vehicle was out of charge and I was stranded. Tommy expertly gave directions resulting in my car being able to be charged. He stopped everything he was doing in closing to assists. If you need anything go here. Highly recommend
