Mountain State Brewing Co
6690 Sang Run Road, McHenryThe first time we ate here, it was exceptional. The second time, however, we had to bus our own table. It was so weird and completely unexpected—a horrible experience that was so different from our first visit. The waitress had no knowledge of the beverages and didn’t even know what a clam shell was. She also assumed that after an appetizer and one pizza, that was all we were going to order. Other than the horrible service, the food was exceptional.

Archie's BBQ
25259 Garrett Highway, McHenryMet the owner and he was awesome. Best BBQ I've had since back home in Kansas City. Had a blast eating here with my family and cant wait to get back this coming summer. The staff was amazing, atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable and this place was clean and well managed. Thank you for a great experience and great food. The brisket was #1 and the BBQ sauce perfect.

Pine Lodge Steakhouse
1520 Deep Creek Drive, McHenryWe always have great food here. The lounge below is more my vibe but I have been up stairs as well as ate on the patio during warmer weather. I have had several dishes here but the best by far is the ribs.
