Words cannot explain how I feel about this place. Poor response to emergency maintenance. One month work order requested for the Windows. I came back from vacation to find my bathroom looking like this. I was unable to speak with a maintenance crew or management team because they are off for the weekend.

Do not move here if you have kids. It’s nothing but dogs everywhere and they usually running free. There is NOTHING for kids to do it’s no playground or anything. They can’t even play in the grass because nobody cleans up after their animals. The leasing office will gaslight you and maintenance is subpar at best. Don’t get me started on the roaches. Sammy is the ONLY person worth mentioning that works here. Everybody else is terrible. Overall would not recommend

I rented an apartment here. Let me tell you it was the worst experience. The rental company promised the hallway would be repainted after I moved in. It was never done so the walls had all kids of marks on them. The rental company didn’t do anything about my concerns about rodents. For an entire winter they changed the way maintenance request were changed. They never sent an email or a letter in the mail about it. I didn’t know it was changed until I had to call them. Unfortunately, the person on the phone got cursed out because the management decided to do something to inconvenience a tenant. I had to buy bait stations and kill them myself. I even pointed to the holes in the corner of the walls, in the closet and behind the radiator. They did very little to show it mattered. The building is old and not kept in even decent shape. The rodents will always be around. The roof leaked 2-3 times a year. They would not fix the issue entirely. Please rent elsewhere if possible. Get a roommate, stay at home, look elsewhere. I rented here for years and it was the biggest mistake. Oak Grove will do you right to get you into a contract then do nothing but collect a check for the rent.

If you're looking for a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, these apartments may be for you. Ive lived here for 4 years and no one gives many any issues. Apartments are spacious and the team has been accommodating, including maintenance! It's an older community so don't be expecting the bells and whistles, but for the price and location, you can't beat Oak Grove Apartments!

Honestly, this place is funky, dirty, broken and worn down but you deal with it because you can't afford better. Im so sick of feral cats everywhere, lazy people just putting bags of trash NEXT to the dumpster, not inside it and the amount of busted furniture, mattresses that sits for weeks outside next to the dumpster. This place is good for a roof over your head, thats it, owners want your money and thats it. The office staff are amazing, the apartments....yea not so much.

I’ve lived here a year and a half and it’s just going downhill. It took them a year from when I moved in to fix my heat. It took them 4 days to fix an issue with my tub that prevented me from showering. They treated an upstairs apartment for pests and refused to treat mine at the same time causing the bugs to then travel to my apartment, as I also knew they would, and then still took their time and gave me resistance to treating my apartment. There are always issues with the washers and dryers. The machines have eaten probably about $10 I’ve never gotten back. You used to atleast be able to walk into the office and get results, but now they’ve closed the office to residents so you can’t even get help. They rarely answer voicemails, emails bounce back consistently even when you’re directly replying to office staff, and texts go unanswered, which is crazy because the staff used to be super responsive. It used to be a pretty quiet place but the past few months people have moved in that are loud, outside yelling all hours of the night, and there’s a tractor for an 18 wheeler that belongs to someone and wakes me up every day around 3am when they leave. There’s no playground, the baseball Diamond they claim to have is just a field that isn’t maintained. There’s nothing for kids to do but hang out at the basketball hoop and leave all variations of bikes, scooters, even strollers out in the middle of the sidewalks at all times and hours of the day and night.

Sammi was amazing. She listened to us and tried to get us exactly what we wanted.
The apartment is older but perfect for us.

It is nothing like the gallery indicates. When I moved in I was told that they would replace the fridge only to be told by maintenance that it would not be replaced even though the fridge was showing severe signs of wear and staining. The dishwasher only worked some times and there were sections in the bathroom where the tiles were coming up. About a month in, the wall of the bathroom shower begin to detach from whatever it was holding onto. I tried to make do. The residents are not always nice and the complex makes it seem as though your gas bill will be lower than what it actually is. Also you have no control of the heat during the winter. All of the radiators in the apartment were locked. I literally could not turn the handle. When I could I moved out and I'm so glad I did. However I am now being charged for some of the preexisting problems in the apartment i.e. the peeling tiles in the bathroom and the tub. Long story short don't move here. The people who work in the office are nice but the management company will try to cut corners any way they can. Also the front door is not sturdy at all. You can hear into other apartments and other tenants can hear into yours. The lock on the front door started to show signs of being tampered with so I called the police who recommended having the locks changed. Maintenance came out and did not replace anything. They just tightened the screws. I did not feel safe.

Excellent help. Attention Carlos for his effort, and above all that he can speak Spanish and that is a great help for those of us who are Hispanic and cannot speak English. Grateful as a family.
