I had a fairly anxiety-free out-of-state move thanks to Graceful Transitions. Everything in my house was labeled according to its final destination: things that would come to my new home; things that would go later in an "heirloom" shipment to my daughter across country; items to be either sold at auction or donated; stuff to be trashed.
I left my house on a Sunday. On Monday all of the things destined for my new home were moved out. On Tuesday everything else was moved out. On Wednesday the drivers met me at my new home at 9:00 as promised. Everything was professionally crated, wrapped, packed and moved. There was no breakage of any kind. The new owners of my home reported that everything was completely and cleanly cleared out. The drivers/movers are long-time employees of the company, not sub-contractors, and they did a great job.There was a bit of a snafu at the end about the shipment to my daughter, but it was resolved quickly and professionally, and to my satisfaction.
Graceful Transitions isn't a bargain-basement mover, but they were worth the price. They can help you with as much or as little as you want with your move.

Graceful Transitions moved me from one apartment in my retirement community to another. Our mission statement was, “Move Carol like a princess.” They did! Lovely, kind people worked so hard to make the move easy on me. I will recommend them to anyone for any kind of move. They rock!

This is a top-notch moving company. FTR, I used to live 3 hours away from them, so it was a long-distance move, ie more opportunities for things to technically go wrong. I got a quote from a couple of moving companies, and they were all on par. I chose Graceful Transitions in the end based on their willingness to come to me for an estimate, and very responsive and clear communication.
Let me go over some major bullet points:
* The crew showed up on time
* They took great care of not damaging the house I was moving out of
* They wrapped every piece that could potentially get damaged
* They stacked it securely
* I prepacked so there was less to move, and they were in and out in a bit over 2 hours
* They unloaded and unwrapped every item, moving them to the location of my choice
* The unloading was done in about under 2 hours
* Not a single item was broken or damaged
* Then they took the remainder of my stuff to the storage unit, with no issues to speak of
After this experience I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, which is likely to take place in a few years. Highly recommended!

Wonderful! I can not say enough great things about Sharyn and the team that helped my parents transition from their home of 55 years to independent living. They packed and unpacked their "treasures" like it was their own. They treated them with respect and realized that this is a huge change for my parents. They lived and loved their home for 55+years. Sharyn and her team even took the time to check on me as it was my childhood home!
I wish I could give them more then 5 stars! Thank you for making such a hard process a lot easier. You were a true blessing in this tough transition.

Graceful Transitions really lives up to their name! We had a family member moving from independent living to assisted living at a retirement community, and then needed to clear out the independent living cottage. We worked with Graceful Transitions for both moves. Their staff was great to work with. Their fees were competitive. The estimates were spot on. And their movers completed their work professionally. I highly recommend them!

Clearing out a condo after my Mom passed away is not an easy task, but Graceful Transitions made the entire experience stress free. That was the case since Graceful Transitions are more than just movers. From the initial estimate, to carefully moving each item to three different drop off locations, to selling items in the on-line auction, and even donating items to people in need, GT exceeded our expectations every step of the way. Exceptional experience from planning to actual move. We needed to move from one house into 2 separate houses. One which was in another state. It was the best moving experience we ever had. Everything was on time and well communicated.

If you need any furniture moved or need to donate anything, please use Graceful Transitions.I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this company. I highly, highly recommend them!!! I’ve work with Mike, on numerous occasions, he's super nice. I contacted him yesterday morning around 9am, and all of my stuff was gone by noon, with just minor cost to me. John, Mike, and their team all worked together to make a difficult and complicated move seamless and worry-free. They were so patient, kind, and efficient as they packed and carefully moved a large home’s contents to a much smaller home. They helped to sort and organize the contents, coordinated donation and even cross country shipping of some, and then unpacked and organized contents in the new home. They were all so nice and consistently went above and beyond in their efforts. Thank you Graceful Transitions! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough how pleased I was with the quality of service that Graceful Transitions offered to me and my business partners, during a very complicated multi office move. Their attention to detail, personal service, responsiveness, and delivering spectacular value for the money cannot be overstated.
