Gun Shack / Crosswind is a family-owned business known for great customer service and helpful, knowledgeable staff. Employees are nice, provide amazing help and advice, and answer questions. They are very helpful with needs and paperwork, reassuring customers. The shop has a reasonable range of excellent bow options and all necessary black powder accessories and loads. It is also a fly shop stocking fly fishing gear. The proprietors know and love what they sell, making it a quintessential and trustworthy store. The shop has an upstairs archery range where staff take time to assist customers. However, the lighting in the store is very poor, so a flashlight is needed to see and read labels. The location can be a little far to travel for some. Despite this, it is a shop with much potential where customers definitely plan to shop again.
The place is as much of a museum as it is a bow + gun shop. There seems to be a decent amount of inventory with new items added regularly. I stopped in for some advice on a recurve bow and they were very helpful.

Tim and Sue are the best. I have purchased many firearms from the Gun Shack and can't say enough positive things about them. Great company, good people, and always willing to get you squared away.

Just so happened to randomly find this spot.. very friendly and helpful young female cashier. I'd definitely be returning.
