The pharmacist is a complete idiot. Wouldn’t let my client get a shot due to medical issues when she has been cleared for it and gotten it THERE for the last 10 years. The tech also violated hipaa when she explained the situation loudly in front of everyone waiting. Both should be fired in my very angry opinion

Check the dates and prices. This store routinely re-stocks with; out of date or shortly expiring products and their multi-pack sale deals, are consistently higher priced per unit, compared to other neighborhood markets.

new management they are under staff mike dunn wont help departments when they are short handed instead he bully them into work make all the female cry he need to retire and so does the dm that wont fire him because they all buddy can some big wig take care of this

Thanks to the department that provides curbside pick up for internet shoppers, I have been able to stay out of the store . Everyone has been so kind. This store is not the closest to me but it is the better option.

Employees, including pharmacy, need to adjust their attitudes. Groceries are expensive and we don't need the additional snarkiness.

Don't bother making an appointment for Covid vaccines as they take whoever is in line first. And as they don't bother identifying where the separate lines for prescriptions and vaccines start you may end up standing in line for 15 minutes before other people walk up and are served before you axnd you are expected to wait another half hour.

Never have enough handicap scooters for this school. I have gone every week and still they are broken or they just don’t have them. I left one day and went the the big Safeway in Westminster. The handicap need better service then this!

I was told today by Laura @ MtAiry that my food was malnutritious, and that she feared for my 3 year old daughter who was with me because she saw the way that I treated ladies!? When I askes for a manager she refused to call one and informed me she was an ex-school district employee and tried to quiz me in Spanish. When I asked for her manager again she demanded that I give her 6 feet of social distance and thanked me sarcastically for refraining from violence against her. I am embarrassed and outraged at this behavior by your store representative in front of my child. This occurred today with the associate Laura at the self check out approximately 10:45am

Not happy with the pharmacy! The staff is very slow and there is always a long line. I had a prescription called in on Wednesday am. Went to pick it up Wednesday pm and was told it was not in stock and had to be ordered, and it would be ready by 3:00 Thurs. No one called ever called me Wednesday or Thursday. First thing Friday I stop in to check on the status and they couldn’t find it. One of the staff members told the pharmacist it had been delivered but no one had time check it in, or call me, because they were too busy on Thursday. And to top it off, the prescription that was delivered was the wrong prescription!! I am still waiting. Not very good customer service.

I love safeway! My family does most of our shopping there. Here's the thing. They are currently renovating and moving things around. It's very confusing. There are razors and feminine products in the bread section even though there are still feminine products where the health and beauty section is? There are a multitude of empty shelves and remaining signs of old products even though they have been moved to a different place. It's all very confusing right now.

I used to go there all the time For great produce and meat selections. When COVID-19 shut down the stores as we know them and I started using Instacart I selected you as my option for one shop. I was amazed at how much you had raised your prices during this pandemic.I visited your store once in early April at 7 AM so no one would be in the store. Your prices were so much higher than they ever had been and there was one other customer in there using the same cashier I had to use who was ahead of me basically using an old Kleenex as a mask. When I got up to the cashier I asked if that was an appropriate face covering and she told me it wasn't her business. I probably won't be back until I get a vaccine and you get real about your prices.

This Safeway participates in price gouging which is illegal. When I spoke to the manager about it she didn’t care and laughed when I said they had been reported to the Maryland Attorney General. They are charging 4 times the normal price of products such as isopropyl alcohol, just because they know how desperately people need these items. It’s disgusting.

Safeway is promoting the online shopping/delivery/pickup. So I tried it today. Added 16 items to my cart, after phone call #1 to help set up the account with a new phone number. Delivery wasn't available for 2 more days, so needed to switch to pick up, phone call #2. Tried to check out and couldn't put my credit card number in, phone call #3. So 2 hours of my life gone, they couldn't help me, and here I am with no groceries. Only tried it cuz I injured my knee. I'd rather limp through the store than go through this again. Please stop promoting a product whose website has bugs and is nonfunctional.
