Talbot Run Equestrian Center LLC is an excellent and professional option for riders. It is an amazing place with a very supportive environment for anyone, creating great experiences. The staff and everyone there is super nice. They have a strong program for young riders, including summer camps that provide excellent value, and they are equally strong with their adult riders. Instructors are wonderful, patient, and work one-on-one with students to help them achieve their goals, even within a larger group. The horses are amazing and great for any rider, and they are kept with great care. The owners are a delight to deal with and they have plenty of student helpers on hand for newer riders. For adult riders returning to the sport, the barn makes them feel welcome and included, never unwelcome or neglected. Riding there has done wonders for confidence and physical and mental health. It is a great place for people to learn and they teach riders a lot. They support whatever horse-related goals a rider may have. It is recommended to call before visiting to get necessary information about rules, internal regulations, behaviors for safety, and dress code. The center is conveniently located between Carroll and Frederick counties. If there is a wait list, it is worth the wait.
