“On one of my many trips home I decided to take a different approach to get there. When I do this, I somehow always end up stumbling upon nice little pockets of businesses along the way. That's what happened this time around. If it wasn't for taking an alternative route, I probably wouldn't have even known this location existed. When I reach Frederick I know I'm anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour away. Which is usually about when I need to stretch the legs and get myself to a restroom. Thankfully the familiar red awning showed ahead of me and I knew I would be able to make a quick stop here. Pulled in, found a spot to park, and headed inside. Used the facilities, decently clean, and then browsed the store. I ended up getting my sweet tea and a pack of smokes before returning outside. To me, this location feels tucked away and mostly serves those in the community more so than the travelers on the highway. Which isn't a bad thing.”

“The other morning I was getting air in my tires at Highs and an employee named Eddie walked by sweeping the parking lot and asked if I was OK and made small talk. He left but then came back out when he noticed I was out there for several minutes. The machine wasn’t correctly filling my tires, and he figured something was wrong.He had a small stuffed cow toy for my 3 year old son to keep him occupied. When he realized their machine wasn’t working, he sent me across the street and said the guys would take care of me and fill my tires. I appreciate Eddie for looking out for us and even sending us to another business across the street.”

“I grew up with Wawa, so I am very excited to have one close by again after years without it. I love the frozen/iced coffee options. I usually stop by in the mornings and there is plenty of parking, lots of gas pumps, and the wait usually isn't too long. The staff is friendly. The coffee makers are always so friendly and welcoming when they make my coffee and when I asked if meatless breakfast items could be made special (the pre-made items all contain meat), they assured me that all I had to do was ask. I prefer this location to the other nearby locations because the layout of the store is easier to navigate and not feel crowded.”

“I am extremely impressed by the food I've gotten from this place. First time, a chicken salad sandwich, a very generous amount of chicken salad,delicious, lettuce, and tomato on top,fresh and crisp. I was impressed. The second time stopping in, the egg salad sandwich, once again a generous amount of egg salad,lettuce, and tomato naturally. Great sandwich ! The price for these great sandwiches was way less than other places in the area. And customer service was very good, friendly and genuine. I highly recommend this place.”

“Highly recommend going to this newer location and NOT the older location- especially when buying alcohol. They have a bigger selection, but also nicer people with better attitudes working. I usually go to the older location, but last night there was an employee I hadnt seen before who gave me a lot of unnecessary attitude for "looking too young to buy alcohol" (even after I showed her my ID and explained I've only been 21 for a few months). I had a crap day and was trying to be nice and make a light hearted conversation about it, but she was rude through the entire encounter. I would not be treated like that at the newer location.”

“Love this place it's a quick place to get gas it's also a quick place to get your cigarettes some groceries they sell soda ice cream chips and beer The only thing they don't sell the cigars they also have a little printing thing in the back or you can have anything printed on a shirt printing on a drop ceiling tile they print on anything for that matter so I would highly recommend this place to anybody that needs gas or need some groceries Yes their prices may be a little high but they're not bad at all The staff are so great here Love this place”

“May 21-29, 2023 I was in Hagerstown helping my Mom with some moving preparation, and came to High's at least 1x daily for coffee. Over that week I experienced delicious coffee with well stocked coffee fixins, a clean store, and terrific team members that made me laugh on each visit, keepiing it a highlight of my day (who likes moving, right?). Naomi, Dedric, and Zack were delightful and joked around with me most often. To me, the sign of a great employer is one where employees feel free to bring all of themselves, including FUN, to work with them. I make my own coffee at home but you can bet for every time I am in town I will be at that location of High's. ***Also your reward perks are terrific! I saved a bunch on gas from just coffee purchases that week...plus a few free coffees /// PLEASE recognize this location's team and leaders for a job beautifully done. I can assure you I have never felt strongly enough to do a convenience store review before ((hug this team!))”

“This Gas station is much more than a fuel stop.I have been a customer since this location was reopened years ago.The owner/operator obviously takes much pride in helping our community.An example, he was out picking up trash, and stopping by the pump area engaging conversation with the folks getting gas, asking how their day was going, etc.The property is very clean looking, grass trimmed all the time.There used to be a number of homeless people hanging around the intersection by the station. The owner worked with the city of Hagerstown to find ways to get those people to go elsewhere to panhandle.Today there is no activity like that going on.My recommendation is folks stop by and check out the very nice convenience store this man has in place. Did you know that a cup of hot, fresh coffee is only $1.00?”

It's also one of the few non-Asian places that sell matcha drinks so if I'm ever feeling hungry but "don't want to sit down at a restaurant," I usually hit Wawa.”

“If you are traveling with kids and need a rest stop for anything this is a perfect spot.... customer service is amazing... we had a vomiting accident and cashier was able to give us a large trash bag that was able to fit our car seat. Amazing costumer service they always have a smile the food is fresh and they are very happy all the time. “The young lady at the drop-off desk was courteous and professional when taking my information. I shared with her that several other pharmacies in town had difficulty getting the prescription charged correctly because of my situation where I have coverage both under Medicare D and also Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She assured me that would not be an issue for her, and it wasn't. The employee at the pick-up desk was also very professional and and I couldn't be happier with my experience filling my prescriptions at this location, which will now be my pharmacy of choice in the Hagerstown, MD area.”

“I go to this CVS Pharmacy all the time and have rarely ever ran into problems. The prices are commonly outrageous but it makes sense for a drug store. (Amazing chocolate selection during holidays lol.)Some of your staff obviously have a problem for no reason and most likely hate their job. Once I was walking in with my kid (she’s a very hyper girl but she’s not rude or obnoxious) and there was a staff member by the entrance. My daughter hopped in but didn’t sprint or cause any harm. But of course, the staff member snapped at her, “NO RUNNING!” and scared the poor girl. He was very rude and moody towards me and her, and he acted as though she wasn’t with me and kept ignoring her when she asked where something was. Anyway, I’d say %50 of the staff are pleasant and the other half are just rude for no reason.”
