Do not book here if you actually want a room. For two consecutive events now they have canceled hotel rooms only two weeks or less from the check in date of a now sold out event. People have fully paid trips with no where to stay due to the hotels incompetence. They’re being canceled because of renovations. They KNEW they had renovations yet booked out the rooms and canceled last minute. Horrible hotel avoid at all costs

Beware: If we could give this hotel 0 stars we would. We arrived for a conference, with reservations we had made two months in advance. The conference was in National Harbor and all the surrounding hotels were sold out. We arrived and the hotel was over booked and they had no rooms to give us. We had to find rooms in an alternate location for double the cost and now requiring an Uber back and forth to the conference that costs over 50 dollars each way adding a minimum of an additional 500 dollars for transportation alone to the cost of the trip. There was no advance warning. There was no responsibility taken. We are a small, rural team that carefully budgeted for this opportunity. They did offer to try and rebook us elsewhere. They said they would call within 20 minutes. They called us 5 hours later to let us know they couldn't find anything for us. We mentioned that we had found rooms elsewhere and shared the impact to our budget they stated, "ok, well since you have rooms, I won't worry about it."

Very nice hotel, rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The hot water in the second bathroom was slow to warm up, and no coffee or breakfast in the lobby but otherwise extremely satisfied. The harbor area is very cool with lots of bars and restaurants.

I wish I could give zero or negative star. I would like to warn everyone about this hotel. Please think twice if you must book it. I reserved a two bedroom suite two months ahead of time and everything was confirmed. Around noon of my check in date, I got notified that the hotel oversold their rooms so we have no place to stay. Me and my family travel a lot and we have not experienced this before. DO NOT trust this hotel and be prepare for the potential cancellation.

Great place to stay for a get together with family for a wedding. Rooms were great, but would like to see tall toilets in the bathrooms. For a upscale resort as this, toilets that you almost sitting on the ground are unpleasant.Rooms: Need tall toilets in bathrooms, otherwise great rooms.Nearby activities: Restaurants and other activities close by.Walkability: Close to restaurants and other activities. Reasonable Uber cost to get the sites in D.C.

Upgraded to a 3 bedroom, the king bed had a very loud noise running constantly, had to move to the third room, with full-size beds. Thank goodness for the upgrade to 3 bedrooms. Hot water took a while, and there was not much pressure, but we were on the 9th floor. Otherwise, I would give a 5 star.Nearby activities: Shopping and restaurants closeWalkability: You can walk to shops and restaurantsFood & drinks: A good selection of restaurants close by, not really fast food

All around great experience here. You have the option of a key card or wrist band when checking in. This hotel is in the middle of the National Harbor area. One thing though, parking is not owned by the hotel and will cost you $24 a day. Pretty pricey. Still though, you are in the middle of everything in the area. There is an indoor pool and outdoor pool, as well as a gym here. You really don't need a car when traveling here but personally, I was in and out of D.C. so a car was needed. D.C. is about 10-15 mins away for the hotel. This was my second stay here, and i definitely plan on coming back to stay here. FYI, for food, I recommend eating at Succotash and Masons Famous Lobster Rolls.Safety: This area is very safe. There are police everywhere, especially at night.Walkability: You can walk everywhere in the National Harbor from this hotel.Noteworthy details: Parking across from the hotel is $24 a day and not owned by the hotel.

My family and I have never had a worse experience with a hotel that we did not even get to stay in. My mother booked my family of five adults a two bedroom deluxe suite three months before our vacation (booked through the company website). Three days prior to check in, my mother received another confirmation email that our suite was booked. My family and I left New Hampshire at 8am and made the eight hour car ride to Maryland. Two hours away from Maryland, at 3:45pm (exactly 15min before check in) my mother received an email that our room had been cancelled. My mother called customer service who explained that our room was indeed canceled. The representative offered to help book another hotel in National Harbor. Our two bedroom deluxe suite for a family of 5 adults got downgraded to one room with two double beds and a pull out couch. This room my parents had to pay for out of pocket before receiving a Club Wyndham refund. After one night, we could not take being crammed in one room so my parents reserved a second one for themselves which was again another out of pocket cost before receiving a refund for the cancelled room.Watching my mother experience so much stress while trying to find new hotel accommodations for us while we were driving and six hours away from home was unbearable. In my family's 20+ years of traveling, we have never had a hotel cancel 15 minutes before check in time. My mother has emailed customer service, left reviews on Google, and messaged Club Wyndham on Instagram, and we have yet to receive our refund from the original booking. This disaster happened a week ago. This wasn't a mistake from a third party website. My family was scammed by Club Wyndham. I will never support this chain of hotels ever again. Please think twice before booking with them, I would hate to have your family go through the awful experience that mine went through.

This place is amazing, especially for kids. My family stayed here for two days when they were visiting from California. I have a niece and nephew (7 and 9 years old) and they had a blast!!! Club Wyndham has a LEGO Room, Nintendo Switch Room, Beam Room (video games on the floor), pool, ping pong, and foosball table. My Mom and I played bingo as well. We all enjoyed walking down to the pier, eating seafood nearby, having ice cream. It's a wonderful location.

Great experience. Everything you need is within walking distance. The Wharf is a 15-minute drive, and you can use the water taxi to get to Virginia. On the weekends, it can get a little loud and crowded.Rooms: Did the presidential reserve. It's the equivalent to a home in the hotel. Great usage of space.Walkability: Walkability score 100.

We're Wyndham owners and have come to this location before for a mini staycation. The rooms are well-appointed and although they could be dusted better, they are clean. The location is great, with restaurants and shops easily accessible. The staff at the front desk is responsive. The biggest complaint I have is the sales pitch disguised as an "owner update." It's supposed to last an hour and only involve a "quick" presentation of what the company is doing, followed by a Q&A session with a representative. Well, the representative always has to get a supervisor to review your account and that's where the harassment starts. This particular time, a supervisor named Melanie decided that insulting me and saying I had a bad attitude was the way to go. When I told her that I wasn't buying anything, she proceeded to raise her voice and tell me I was stupid for not "taking advantage of her advice." That's when I advised her that the conversation was over and she continued to harass and insult me. Honestly, as hostile and agitated as she was acting, I thought she might try to put her hands on me. She was rude and her behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I will be reporting her to corporate and NEVER attending another "owner update" again. This clearly unhinged woman almost ruined my day and made me extremely disappointed in Wyndham. The facilities are great, but their sales staff needs a serious overhaul. Beware when they try to get you to go to a sales pitch. The incentive bait isn't worth being insulted and harassed, not to mention losing your valuable time over. Just say NO!

So normally have good experiences at a Wyndham. And have stayed here before. Staff at check in were great,On our second night we saw that temp was set for 68 since it was warm and was reading 74. Next morning it was 75. Called front desk maintenance came up at 11. Said it was working and he would come back in an hour or 2. Called back hour later informed it was still at 74. He said yeah freon was low i’ll come back 3pm. We left at 330. Came back at 11pm. Room was now 76. He came up said we willmove you to another room a nicer room. He called front desk then said oh we’re moving to an another 2 bedroom (nice was omitted) They moved us to room with much older appliances and not as nice. This morning went to front desk to let them know our issues. (we’re told a manager would check on us in am.Never happened) They response with “Oh Sorry”
