My wife has been a loyal costumer to Darcars for almost 6 years. She brought her mom and grandma there to get their car and I was thinking about getting my car there too, but that was quickly swept away bcuz of an experience we had recently. So I brought my wife car in for an oil change on Sept 23, 2033 almost two months ago. We did not check the car or inspect it after the oil change in which I should have done. Approximately 2 weeks ago I was washing the car and decided that I was gonna lift the hood of the car to remove some trash. After lifting the hood and removing some trash from the lower part of the windscreen area I realized that the engine cap was not on and it fell in between the plugs. Due to the cap coming off or was not put on in the first place, it caused almost all of the oil to have spilled all over in the engine bay. We contacted the dealership and made them aware of the situation and they had informed us to bring in the car. When the car was brought in and they did their inspection, they told us that the car was driven for too many miles and they cannot assume responsibility. So that's fine, but the worse part is that they wanted to sell me a service by diagnosing what they think was wrong when quite frankly nothing was wrong with the car bcuz I took the car to our local mechanic to inspect it since the engine light came on. He inspected it and everything was okay. Before I had taken the car to our mechanic due to the oil loss I went ahead and added 2 quarts of sae 5w-20 oil Because i had to drive the car out. The diagnosis that they gave clearly showed that these people are trying to offer services that aren't needed in order to make money.My Wife recently paid off for her car and was thinking about upgrading but bcuz of this incident there's no way she'll be getting her upgrade from any darcars for that matter.

After experiencing a lack of communication and customer service at another dealership, I made the decision to give Darcars CDJR of New Carrollton a call. I believe it was one of the greatest decisions I've ever made. Kevin and I had a conversation where I shared what happened at the previous dealership. His tone indicated that he was sincere and worked diligently to ensure customer satisfaction. After sharing my frustration and what I was seeking, Kevin asked me to give him a few minutes and he would come up with a solution for me. Did Kevin come up with a solution? The answer is a resounding YES! Kevin exceeded my expectations. I was searching for a 2023 Jeep Compass but ended up purchasing a 2024 Jeep Compass, thanks to Kevin. He advised me to come the following day so that he and Aaron, his manager, could get me into my new car. The dealership's process was flawless, quick, fast, and easy. At Darcars, I had the pleasure of interacting with Kevin, Aaron, and Tiffany, all of whom are incredible. Darcars CDJR of New Carrollton would be my top choice for anyone looking for a vehicle. I guarantee that if you ask for Kevin, you won't be disappointed!

After several hours of hopeless car shopping we came across an internet posting of a car that we thought met our used car shopping needs. That post led us to the DARCARS Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of New Carrollton where we were introduced to Dulce our sales rep. She was very professional and listened to our budget requirements. We took the vehicle for a test drive and were on the fence as it was the first test drive of the day and we thought we should do our due diligence and look at other dealers/cars. We were introduced to the GM Tim Ralston an he suggested we take the car home, drive it a little more and think on the decision for 24 hours. We took him up on that offer and we are so thankful we did. The car is exactly what we were looking for. I knew my husband didn't have the patience for the in dealership waiting that comes with the car buying process so our sales rep pointed us to the online finance application which saved us some time for this process. We worked with Olu in finance and he was thorough with all aspects of the process and left no questions unanswered. Car buying can be stressful and this group of individuals at DARCARS Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of New Carrollton made it simple and pleasurable. We will definitely consider this dealership for future car buying needs. They were an AWESOME team of people.

I was interested in a truck on Wednesday 10/25 and notify them if I could put a deposit on the truck being I live over 2hrs from the dealership and will not be able to make it there until Saturday 10/28. They told me that they could not do that because someone can purchase it at anytime and they said if I call them when I am on my way on 10/28 they would hold it when I got there. I reached out to them on Friday afternoon and asked Javan my sales representative if the truck sold and he said no. Before I departed on Saturday 10/28 I tested Javan at 7:30am that I was on my way and to hold the truck and he said he will. On arriving at 10:00am on Saturday after the 2.5hr trip, Javan told me that the truck sold the night before and never contacted me before I made the trip. It was so unprofessional that I went off on them in the showroom so everyone could hear my unsatisfactory with the dealership and you can tell they are not rated on BBB and have horrible reviews on the internet. Please do no shop here unless you want to deal with a below average people.

Jason on the sales team provided exemplary service. He took the time to understand my needs, provide responses to my questions, he was thorough in taking me through the process. I walked out with a vehicle that fit my family's needs and my budget. Olu was awesome to work with. and it's always great talking to Emanuel. Thanks guys!

READ THE REVIEWS AND TRUST THEM! I’ve waited a month to write this review because I don’t take writing poor reviews lightly. However, my experience was so bad and has yet to be addressed that I feel it’s important to share my experience so that others can avoid the hassle. I will NEVER take my car back to this service center. We bought our vehicle from this location in 2022 and purchased the extra service coverage. Since the recommendation was to take the car to your dealer for service, that’s what we did. After 1 year, our hybrid charger stopped working. I called the service center to schedule an appointment on 7/31/23. The rep let me know that they were booked about 4 weeks out, but could schedule me for service on 8/22. He also let me know that they would need my car for about 5 days because of the type of issue. We booked the appointment, but called back on 8/17 to see if we’d be able to get a rental car covered since we have 3 kids and they’d need our van for a week. The rep said yes and that with this kind of warranty issue, rental cars are typically covered for up to 2 weeks. We dropped the car off on 8/22 (which took way longer than it should have) and the rep said he would be in touch with us. I made my first phone call the afternoon of 8/25 to check a status. Another rep said the car hadn’t been assigned a tech yet, but we should have been aware that they would need my car for 5-10 days. Okay, that’s news to us, but we’ll deal with it. I check in again on 8/29 (day 7 with my car, no call from them) and they said my car was assigned a tech finally, but had not been checked yet. I called again 8/30, still not checked. Again on 8/31, nothing. I finally spoke with the service manager Courtney on Friday 9/1 and she confirmed that no one had seen my car yet and since we were heading into a holiday weekend, it likely wouldn’t be seen until 9/5 (day 13 of having my car). I explained my concern of having a rental car past the 2 week time frame of coverage. She recommended I call Chrysler directly because they will sometimes cover longer than 2 weeks with this kind of technical issue since they know it requires a special tech. I immediately called Chrysler and they stated that there is actually no warranty coverage for rental cars. He said I may be able to submit my receipt for a partial coverage, but that is not something in our warranty and asked who told us that. We then try to get the service rep Courtney back on the line, but the rep that answered said she had left for the day. As I started to voice my concerns of being lied to, I could hear her cussing in the background and telling the rep on the phone with us what to say. That rep proceeded to lie and say that no one at Darcars ever told us 2 weeks of rental car coverage, that they told us maybe 3 days. At that point we decided to go pick up our van the next day. They clearly weren’t trustworthy AT ALL. I followed THEIR process, and they did absolutely NOTHING for me. I’m not sure the purpose of an appointment if it means they just keep your car for TWO weeks without even moving it from the parking lot. Our service ticket also included an oil change, multi-point inspection, and cleaning (all covered in our additional service coverage) and even those items were not done. So at this point I am out $500 of a rental car fee that I had to pay out of pocket, an oil change that I had to get done elsewhere and pay out of pocket, and a hybrid vehicle that does not run on electric for months now. I will never take my car back to this service center. Our service rep didn’t call me once (I purposely waited until day 4 to start calling and late afternoons each day to give him a chance to call me first since he promised every time he would call me the next day) throughout the 2 weeks that they had my car, the service manager was rude, and you can’t trust anything a single person says there. My biggest regret is taking my car there to begin with but my 2nd biggest regret is not getting more in writing.

While my car was serviced correctly, the interior (floor and door) of my vehicle was left covered in oil and grease each time. The first time that this occurred was July 31, 2023 after having my engine fluids exchanged. The interior of my driver's side floor was covered with grease and oil. I let this go as a mistake or happenstance. This lack of care was repeated on September 15, 2023 following a brake service, alignment and tire balancing. The interior of my driver's side door was also left covered in grease and oil. Also the facility is old and it SHOWS!!!

I went to DARCARS today and was assisted by Javon. I was in the lookout for my first new truck. I knew exactly what I wanted and was assisted in no time. This whole process was made easy by Javon, and I really appreciate him. Not only was he enthusiastic but I really appreciate how involved he was with my interests and what I wanted. In no time I had my new truck and I can’t thank Javon enough for this smooth process.

Go see al Emmanuel (The “G” is silent)! The number one thing he did was honor the price they advertised, but he really did everything pretty much right for me.When i got to the dealership they had changed/increased the online price, which TrueCar said was a great deal. However, I had printed out the original price so they honored it! That was about $2500 to my favor.He/They also didn’t waste my time with back and forth. They presented their numbers, I countered telling them which things needed to change, they came back and got almost exactly what i suggested done!This is very rare in my experience and I’ve purchased 11 vehicles now (I’m old).Thanks Emmanuel and team!

STAY AWAY! They lost the keys to my car and told me it was my problem. Once they found the keys in their possession they blamed me. They held my car for a day and didn’t touch it and didn’t call me. They refuse to take responsibility for their ineptitude.

I was helped by Javan I had an appointment with him at 10am. He was very nice, very professional, very down to earth. He made the process pleasant for me even though I started to get frustrated with the length of time I was there. He made sure my and my son was comfortable the whole time. Even made sure my son had food while we sat there. I don’t trust sells men however if I must say he is the 1st. He did a very very good job.

I called to schedule a recall for my vehicle a Ram Promaster City. The recall involves two software updates and replacement of the catalyst. The recall notice says the repair will take approx 2 hours. The service scheduler said, no we're swamped over here. We are going to need it for 2 - 3 days. I asked to be scheduled for a first in appointment, I was ok waiting for a month+ to get it done. He said they won't do it while I wait, they're just too busy. What this tells me is this place doesn't want to do recall work, period. Don't do business with DARCARS. They're not interested in providing service that gets you back on the road quickly.

Excellent dealership! I was not looking forward to buying another car and going through the "normal dealership experience". DARCARS in New Carrollton MD was the best dealership I have worked with. The entire process could not have been more seamless and made buying a car an exciting and pleasant experience again. Their attention to detail and my satisfaction was unparalleled- going above and beyond in every aspect! If you are in the market for a car, go and speak with Tim Ralston the Sales Manager. Emmanuel Gberte, who was our personal salesman was exceptional. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The finance experience was again above expectation. Ken Wright who is the Finance Manger was really terrific and worked with us from start to finish. I have bought and traded many, many cars and this by far was the best dealership I have worked with. Kudos and 5 Stars. Thank you DARCARS of New Carrollton in Maryland!

Please dont waste your time going here to get your car serviced. You will get very poor service and on top of that they will expect a good review. AND if you have the urge to leave an honest review about such poor service they will be sure to call you NO MATTER THE TIME to call and yell at you. Lol i hate to say it but if you call the service department manager spooky court-ney to report something, please please please do not expect her to care. She will speak to you without a care in the world. You being displeased or poorly serviced is not her problem and solely yours to fix lol. i happen to have the nightmare of working with little dan-iel and he speaks with attitude and acts as if he is doing YOU a favor by doing his job of servicing your car. He will not call you to follow up, he will not call you to tell you the car is ready for pickup, he will leave for the day and not close out your paperwork so when you get there no one knows you and if you didnt know any better you may be asked to pay for something that doesnt require payment. I asked another person there to please contact little daniel for clarification before i had to pay to get my car back. They then get clarification that i did not have to pay. AND PLEASE DONT take your car back assuming they drove it afterwards to test if their repair was a proper fix. Cause behold!! the car you sent in for repair was given back you not repaired!!! so due to me foolishly leaving an honest review to warn others, little Dan-iel calls me while he KNOWS i am at work to yall at me. I stop him to ask did he call me while i was at work to chew me out, and he replied yes cause he wants to know why i left the review scores. I happened to return my car there to be fixed, even though he leaves empty promises that he will be there at 7am and i will be able to get it inspected and worked on to leave out at a good time but get there at 7 and no little daniel to be found and the only person there has no idea who you are.. and he then tells me to come get my car cause they arent working on it anymore. youd think they would want to best fix the situation for a better review but little Daniel preferred to chew me out.

I wanted to bring my car in for servicing and changed my mind when I was met with the disgusting, appalling, RUDE and unprofessional behavior of the services manager Courtney Stringfield. I brought my car in previously and the service department fixed a recall and changed a light bulb so it’s only logical for me to bring it in when my display board stopped working, and it wouldn’t start at all. She was forcing a $280 diagnostic fee on me even though I mentioned the recall. Her words were “my technicians don’t work for free” which is completely unprofessional. Of course I expect to pay for the cost of fixing my vehicle but not a diagnostic fee that could be caused by electrical recall issues they were supposed to have fixed. She should not be a services manager, she doesn’t understand the first thing about customer service. Explains why this location has such a poor rating. Its YELP rating is 2.5. Needles to say I’ve found better service elsewhere! Do not spend your money here.
