Wanted to close my account ever since Suntrust became Truist. And every time I have to physically step inside this branch, I hate myself for not closing it. Always a terrible experience coming here, and honestly any truist branch

For years, our company has utilized the services of the business banker - Mr. Ray Thomas. He has been the most professional, courteous, intelligent banker that we have found in many years! Mr. Ray goes that extra mile to ensure that his business customers are provided the utmost service! His compassion, knowledge, and understanding of small business needs is unsurpassed by anyone else at that location and other locations for that matter. Having banked in Edgewater, MD, Washington, DC., & New Carrollton, Mr. Ray keeps us well informed. We commend Mr. Ray and will only patronize Truist, if he is promoted and given his due respect and props! Because of him, our firm is making big inroads into the entertainment industry. We applaud Mr. Ray as our business banker!! Anyone else who has a negative opinion of him is either inept, impatient, jealous, and/or oblivious to his angelic prowess.

Amazingly, this lady has been promoted as branch manager - Michelle. OMG! We guess its because of her tenure. By far not because of her knowledge. A firm had 2 accounts to be linked and she stated that it could not be done! Wow! So inaccurate according to the 800 number. Correct. It takes forever for this bank to handle even simple transactions. RUN!!!

The worst attention. I just needed to update my information and a rude, dark-haired lady treated me in a hateful way, saying no translations over the phone. She then told me to wait seated, that she would attend to me later, she got out and drove away in her car. I asked for someone else to help me and until they finally helped me, everything was about something that only took 1 minute on the computer.

This branch is the worst!!!!!!!!! It takes 30 minutes to an HR just to make a deposit inside. Not only are the tellers slower than molasses but rude as well. Save yourself the time and stress and go to another branch.

Worst bank ever the bank teller Gwen is horrible and gives out falsely information. While the entire wait time is longer than 45 mins do not bank here will hold checks longer than week of need to be cashed but won’t tell you that front up they’ll lie and say it’ll be deposited into account next business day or so when in reality it’s will be over an week… terrible customer service horrible bank.

I've been here a few times and it's just as the previous reviewers stated... They are slower that a turtle. Very rude and the head teller really needs to find another job. She is way to slow to be working in this environment.... It's sooooo sad!!! Plan to wait for at least 45 minutes.

All the previous reviews are accurate for this location and institution. This is my fourth time receiving above and beyond the worst service a animal can receive. The Teller’s goal is to drag the bank down to match the horrible banking service they have since the the merger.Since this is a New Year Truist is on my chopping block. They have affectively lost my business partner(s) and my business. Good Job!

This is simply disgusting...there is one teller working the line and the manager doing nothing. Its 20 or more people and folks are constantly coming in and turning around to leave because the line is wrapped around the LOBBY. A good manager would have opened a window to assist the frustrated slow teller but NO!!!!! I expected more the this financial institution. I really really really really really really dislike office in New Carrollton,Md every time I visit it gets worst but this it!!!. If I didn't need to come inside I would have used the ATM.
