Normally I have nothing bad to say about TD bank. i have always had great customer service at branches all over the area. However the brank manager at this location is a huge j**** As he was embarrassing me for no reason i caught the eyes of the teller and could see even she was embarrassed. Use TD, but avoid this branch if you are hoping for any type of help from the manager!!

I've recently had a number of complex transactions - sending wires, receiving wires, upgrading accounts. The service was outstanding especially given the COVID context.

Tdbank isn't worth any consideration of decent people. While making a debt transaction for $8.00 with nearly a thousand dollars in the bank I find out the card is closed. They say they wish to verify a transaction,. I am a senior who work nine hour to have my transaction declined. No call and text when we're you to verify. I am a Maryland State counselor. That means I may meet people at my place of business. Or at there home. So if I was some distance away and felt I had to stop at a motel or hotel; or at Pharamacy or emergency room and copay would have applied my capacity to pay my bills would have been severely limited. Further once the decline process occurred I called the bank is when I first hear of a transaction for two hundred and fifty dollars. I had know knowledge of it. Further what is convince me that the banks security was not breached or that someone had simply made it up. There solution was to All in 5 yo 6 days or go to a branch. I would encourage anyone seek to open a safe and secure bank account that you seek other banks.

The atm is always broke. There is never more than one teller available.

This bank is located is the very gay-friendly area of DC; it's in a very nice neighborhood near plenty of shopping and dining! My experience during this visit was positive. This location is open until 3pm on a Saturday, later than all the other nearby TD Bank locations. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and was assisted by the head teller, Meren, who took care of several account services needs. It took about an hour in the bank, with various disruptions, computer issues, and technical errors, but I had an hour to kill, and the bank had convenient hours. I will return for future banking needs if I'm in the area.

The earlier reviews reflect how the bank was. The penny arcade is gone. The bank opens later and closes earlier. It takes half an hour on hold to reach someone on the business side of things. And trying to get something answered via email yields an incorrect answer every 24 hours. They change the rules on how interest bearing accounts work, now you need 10 transactions a month to get a better rate, but I just don't do transactions on accounts where I park my money. Very frustrating when this used to be a great bank.

Worst bank ever. Opened a business account in May. They failed to deliver checks in three months. Placed a fraud lock on my account (because they failed) and now i can't access my money. I'd never write a review on a bank but they failed so completely i felt i had to. I have moved my accounts to either Bank of America or Eagle Bank. Avoid TD Bank. They waste your time. Bethesda Branch and via their phone service.

Never thought I'd review a bank, but I stopped in here after work to make a deposit and I was just very impressed by how friendly the people working there were. They immediately greeted me as soon as I entered, and made entertaining conversation as they were processing my deposit. It was 6:30pm after a long day, when most people would be tired, grouchy, and just wanting to go home - but half an hour before closing they were polite as ever. If you have an account at TD Bank, I'd say this is a great branch to visit.

Love, Love, Love this bank. They are always friendly and just plain nice. Perk is that they open up an hour before most banks at 8 am which is perfect for me to stop in before work. I have accts. with both them and BOA down the street; it's like completely different worlds in customer service.

Everyone here is always so kind! I often go out of my way to visit this branch to do my business. I know that when I go they recognize me and are sincere when addressing my concerns. This bank provides the best customer service I have ever experienced in a retail setting! I too received an umbrella, among other TD branded gifts. Also, I heard that they proved notary services free--even if you don't hold an account there! Ask for Dennis.

Mediocre service and basically a huge corporate bank masquerading as something consumer friendly. Nickled and dimed to death with fees for breathing.......there is a reason there are never any customers in this bank.

I'd heard some good things about TD Bank, but my own experience never got off the ground. We just moved to DC and I tried to apply for a new checking account online. After I filled in the online form, the app told me it couldn't find me in the public record. Would I like to start over and answer all the same questions again? For some reason, I fell for it and went through the whole process a second time. Still no luck. Then I called their 800 number and we went over all the same questions and answers verbally. Again, no luck. Bottom line: TD Bank doesn't seem to think I exist, and they won't or can't tell me which piece of information is causing the problem. Fortunately there are plenty of other banks around whose online application apps work correctly. UPDATE. We dropped by the branch office and they sorted out the problem. We now have a TD checking account. So, we'll bump this up to three stars, and see how things work out from here.

I want to give two stars, but the truth is that TD Bank is just a very good bank and the people at this branch are very kind. The branch on Connecticut Ave is much more well run though. The problem with the Logan Branch is that when you go in and have a line of three people waiting to make a deposit, there may be one teller and 4 other employees sitting at desks not working. At some branches, they don't hesitate. They get up from the desk and go to the teller station and help out. I am sure that once you've gotten out of the teller station and assigned a desk, you don't want to go back to the teller station. If you want to represent the company well and do right by the client, you really have to make sure people aren't waiting (if you are not busy doing something else).

OK. Here I am writing another review about a bank. It seems random, but the folks at this branch of TD are so customer service oriented, I felt the need to acknowledge that fact to my fellow yelpers! This branch is located in the Metropole. The hours are the best! They got extended hours on Saturdays and are even open on Sundays. The free coin counting machine even gives you an option to guess how much you are dumping in. If you guess within $1.99 you win a prize. I opened a new free checking account at TD and see myself switching all of my banking over to them in the very near future.
