Jose Martinez was our poc for our project. It was difficult to initially get in contact with Mr. Martinez. My husband and I walked in to ABW without an appointment since he did not return our call. We spoke with one of his co-workers, a lovely lady sitting at the front desk, who helped us tremendously. She took our names and # and had him call me.Jose did spend an hour and a half on the phone with me during the week and then sent an email to me and made an appointment for 10 on the following Saturday. We showed at 10 and he was a little late. He forgot our appointment and had another at 10:30. He was not going to help us but rushed through paperwork and when he found out that the range hood did not come in the size we needed, he said he'd do some research. The research never occurred. We bought our range hood at the Home Depot Design Center. It wasn't cheap. If he'd only made an effort. What was his problem? I didn't like any of his choices from the initial research really. Whose choice should it be? The homeowner's or the salesman's. Obviously he didn't want to make a commission on the sale or ABW has a bad selection on appliances.He had a fellow co-worker finish the paperwork for us and then sculked around. How embarrassing for him, I suppose. We ended up looking at the high end appliances and enjoying ourselves tremendously, wishing we could afford appliances like that and making him nervous as he stood outside wondering when we would leave.I noticed that most customers were steered towards the less expensive appliances or towards French door refrigerators. When we said we did not like French door refrigerators because you have to dig around in the freezers to find what you want instead of having what you want on a shelf, and wanted side by side refrigerators, his hands flew up in the air and said that they were not popular and were not readily available. What unutterable garbage. We purchased a side by side GE refrigerator from Lowes with great ratings. It was well rated at both Lowes and Home Depot and the fact that the ice maker is on the inside resolves a problem that many refrigerators with icemakers located in the door have (the icemakers freeze up and have to be cleared - a problem with KitchenAid).If I were ever to go through a remodel like i have been going through again, I would probably purchase appliances differently. I would look at more high end products, Bosch, Electrolux, for dishwashers and washer dryers and then look at the high end built in refrigerator/freezers. They are more handicap friendly and better lighted. Samsung and GE make a very nice range.

Our builder used ABW for our appliances. One of our appliances is faulty and we've been trying to get ahold of them for over month. Called and left a message and got no call back. Even our builder has had issues!! Finally got ahold of them, they were supposed to come today between 12 and 4 and they never showed up!!!! I seriously doubt if some of these 5 star reviews are real. None of the 5 star reviewers have more than 10 reviews. Go through and take a look.

I had a wonderful experience buying my dishwasher and the install was great. I highly recommend. I have purchased appliances from other high-end appliance companies in the area and this experience was much better. I will definitely come back to purchase future appliances.

Sales and Service have exceeded our expectations. Purchased all appliances for a new build from Steve S at ABW in Rockville and couldn’t have been more impressed with his knowledge and service. Had first service call post delivery to adjust settings on an appliance and Brian from service came to address. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable! Brian did a fantastic job in addressing our concerns.

Five star delivery, removal of old appliances, installation of new ones and clean up. The day started with excellent notifications of estimated arrival. The crew that arrived was highly professional. They removed the old built-in freezer and refrigerator in minutes. The new Miele built-ins were installed as if they had always been there. Kudos to this crew!!!

Incredibly easy! Delivery, installation and take away of old equipment was amazing. They put cardboard on the carpet before they brought anything in. They cleaned up when they were finished. Having had many appliances delivered in rentals over the years I have seen my share of incompetence and chaos. This was terrific and done in about 45 minutes. Hooray.

Has anyone else been subjected to a $50 site visit charge to measure space in the home ? Then find out the measurements they take and send to you are those from the same (newer) model they are replacing? Love to hear if you too have been dammed in this process?

If I could give them a zero I would. My gas stove burner started having problems back in August 2022, yet it was still under their warranty. They misdiagnosed and ordered the wrong part six times. The last person who came out finally fixed the issue but broke another component in the stove. They are TERRIBLE communicators. Most often than not, we had to call them to see if the part had arrived. And of course, they expected us to be available for entire afternoons, wherever they came out. I believe they were just hoping we would give up. That is six afternoons we had to leave work to be available. Not acceptable! ABSOLUTELY, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

Bad service response. I don't write a bad review unless it is really bad. ABW Appliances are the worst in servicing / scheduling and ordering parts. Our Viking refrigerator took several months to repair and our Viking oven has been scheduled for repair several months ago. On the day of the repair, 1 hour before schedule time, the technician calls and says they didn't order the part and I have to reschedule. This is the last time I am using them for any service!

Paco was extremely helpful and professional installing our new dishwasher. He also was persistent in trying to figure out why a set of lights in our kitchen stopped working after we had a new stove and hood installed a few weeks ago. Not only did he solve the problem, but he also took the time to explain why it happened and how to fix it. Overall, we really had great service with Paco and would recommend him highly.

Paco was a lifesaver! First of all, we were sure the top oven glass door of the double wall oven was scratched because it had a 6 inch diagonal line across it, and to the touch by several people, we were sure it was a scratch. Even Paco was sure it was a scratch. However, something must’ve been gnawing at him because after he did the other work, he went back to re-examine the door and discovered with some real, rubbing power that it was actually heavy glue. Additionally, we were very unhappy with the large gap below the bottom oven and the lower cabinet door and although we still don’t love the gap that is there, Paco decided to take a chance and he was able to move the bottom panel of the oven up a quarter of an inch and drill new holes to reinstall it. It looks better much better than it did.
