Unprofessional management team. Toured this property on 3/8, manager was pleasant but was unable to show a unit we were interested in because the lock was broken. I was asked to come back the next day, 3/9 at 10:15am. Came back the next day, only one leasing staff member in the office and she was not accommodating at all. Had to wait in the lobby to even ask a question, as she kept the glass door locked as she talked to another couple. I understand that she was clearly busy, but at least an acknowledgement that we were there would have been nice. No acknowledgement whatsoever, even though she could clearly see us across the glass not 10 feet away from her, not to mention I unsuccessfully attempted to open the door twice. When she finally stepped out with the couple, I had to stop her to ask where the manager was, as she was about to walk past as if we didn't exist. Perhaps the manager was in the back? Or with another customer? Just wanted to know if we would be attended to. She dismissed me and said "well I'm the only one here and I'm busy. Maybe she's (the manager) coming, but she's not here." I asked if we could wait in the office at least, I was told "you can wait there (lobby), that's fine," as she walked away. Waited another 30 minutes, no one came. If this is how they treat potential renters, I can only imagine how actual residents get treated.

Hello, and thank you for reading my positive review of NoBe Market Apartments. I just moved here and the staff at NoBe Market made me feel welcome. They are experts in the leasing process. I communicated my needs and they delivered! I love the amenities (gym, pool, club room, courtyard). The apartments are also close to a lot of 3rd spaces (Pike and Rose, Starbucks, Whole Foods). I am in the West Building which is kept up very well and secure. There is convenient access to the garage, mailroom, and package room. I hope to be a long time resident here. Thank you Cecilia, Katie, Jennifer, Toni, and staff for the warm welcome. Bravo!

I ran into some seriously unhelpful behavior from the leasing agents that left me feeling let down and frustrated. Here's the deal: they hooked me with a super low offer for a 1-bedroom at $1.5k via message, way below the $2k price they advertise online. When I showed up excited to check it out, the agent basically said, "Forget that price, trust what's online," and then dangled the possibility of me fitting into some special program based on my income. They promised to send me all the details of that program, but guess what? I got nothing. When I tried to get more info about this mysterious program, I got vague answers and then... radio silence. I kept trying to reach out, but they ghosted me. And the "tour"? If you can even call it that. Didn't see a single apartment or what the building offers. They said the apartment wasn't available to be shown. Hello? I booked this visit in advance, expecting they'd at least show me around. This so called tour did not include a viewing of any room, the building's facilities, or even the lobby. Just some chat about a program they couldn't bother to send me the details. I barely warmed my seat in the leasing office for 10 minutes before heading out, totally clueless about the place.Traveling there for the tour, it felt like my time meant nothing to them. I was genuinely excited about this building—its location and amenities had me sold. I planned, scheduled ahead, and did my research on apartment hunting, but this tour was a complete waste. It's clear they don't respect me, my time, or the effort I put into finding the right place. It makes me feel sorry for the folks living there, needing help that's probably never addressed.

Great place to live in a safe area. Coffee shops, grocery stores, clothing retailers etc are all extremely close by. You will be very close to Pike & Rose (5 minute drive) and close to the North Bethesda train station (9 minute walk). As other reviews said, yes, the leasing office can be tricky to get a hold of sometimes as they are busy giving tours, but if you try calling again later or leaving them an email, you will get a response typically that same day. I have not had any issues communicating with the leasing office.Parking is not included in the rent. You need to buy a pass for the garage that is $110/mo. Garage is attached to the building. You will also have to do a 1 time $20 payment to be able to use their package room for the entirety of your lease agreement. Packages are stored in NoBe Market Apartment lockers; they are not dropped at your apartment door.Amenities are nice and the building is kept clean. I do not know what the other reviews are talking about as I am in the "older" building, not the newer one, and my floor seems to always be clean. The elevators, lobbies, and common areas like the study room are cleaned daily.

It's been a little more than a month since I moved into my new apartment at Nobe Marketplace. The apartment itself has a great view and is super spacious, that's the main reason I decided to move in at Nobe. The comments online differ from my thoughts, as I personally love my time here so far. Service requests have also been taken seriously and worked on quickly. If you want a spacious apartment, loads of sunlight, and a great location, this is your place.

I applied For an application for an MPDU apartment a few months ago. The leasing agent told me to apply to a regular unit, pay the deposit fee and she will change my unit. Not only did they take my money for the deposit, but they told me they no longer had the unit available. I never received a refund for the deposit and my application seems to have been cancelled. Extremely unprofessional leasing agent with misleading information. I work in a field where we often recommend housing and will let everyone I come in contact with to avoid it with a ten foot pole.

Wow. The service here was honestly amazing. I came in spontaneously just wanting to look around and see what they had to offer and next thing you know, I’m moving in next month. They’ve got good people working here that give great service, can communicate, and will see your point of view. I will gladly say that I can really trust these people. I’ve actually been recommending this place to my family and friends! 10/10

I made an appointment to go tour apartments on Monday which was surprisingly very busy. The leasing consultant who took me on a tour allowed me to see numerous floor plans and had an amazing attitude. The apartments have amazing views and they are very spacious. The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star rating is because I could tell they are understaffed which worries me a bit. The leasing consultant seemed like the only person doing most of the work. I appreciated her help all throughout the way and look forward to leasing with them soon.

The worst experience ever! I put down my security deposit $281 to rent an apartment on August. Thanks god I changed my mind and didn’t get the apartment so I wanted a refund for my security deposit. First time I called them they said they will send me the check. Second time I called them they told me that it may take a while to get to me, so I asked if I can go to the office and pick up the check. The person I’ve been talking to was like I am not sure I gonna talk to manager and give you a call back(Never happened) third time I called them they said I can’t go pick up the check and they have to mail it to me and it will take a while and it will get to me mid September. At this point I had been waiting for a month to get my money back. Fourth time I called them in October letting them know I didn’t receive my money. The person first hang up on me then I called back and the woman who was in charged told me my name was too long so they had trouble with the check. The check was sent later. I was surprised! I asked her why didn’t she email me to let me know about it. Even my name was to blame but not them!!! They are so unprofessional. Unable to even handle simple a call. I never had such a negative experience.

Don’t rent here. Everyone leave this place, This is a friendly place but the rent price is horrible. I have been here since 2018, the rent increase was reasonably stable at the beginning. But in 2022 the annual rent increased by 15.8%! In 2023, this year, they want more, another annual increase of 8.5% is been asked! The apt company is taking blood from tenants! Is the country under increasing inflation? Why they are keeping increase rent price in this aggressive fast way? Ridiculous! Ridiculous! It is joking when I saw the reply/comments from the apt owner by providing an email, and asking us to email the apt manager team. They never replied email!!!

This is building alternates between being unmanaged and being poorly managed by the leasing office.Nobe consists of 2 buildings, one tall and modern and one older. I lived in the older (west) building. This is an unmanaged property. There is no management to speak of, only a leasing office. No concierge. I have never seen security. Homeless people walk through the front doors which are either propped open or broken. They sleep in the hallways and leave trash all over the hallway, which smells of pee. Eviction notices are frequently posted on doors. Most of the building smells like weed. Packages get stolen a lot. Concerns about stolen packages are met with: “if you don’t like it, get a PO box, not our problem.”I got locked out once on a Saturday at 10 AM and there was no one in the office to help and I called the leasing agent who was not willing to help me out. She told me to get a locksmith, which I did, and it cost me $350.The apartments themselves are disgusting yet expensive. Dark with low ceilings. Cheep clothes- and dishwashers with mold. Appliances do not clean anything unless run the max setting at a deafening sound. Heating and AC fails regularly. Fire alarm goes off frequently in the middle of the night for no reason. In the summer, the whole building stinks of trash. Parking is expensive and inconvenient. Atlantic parking manages the underground parking and a lot of the time the machines are broken causing people to get stuck in the parking garage.Kids use the courtyard pool in the middle of the night and make a racket at like 2AM. In the summer this makes it impossible to get sleep. Like already mentioned there is no management or security on site to prevent things like this from happening. No one cares. The building has a bad vibe, leasing office just does not care, and the management company - Avenue5 residential - is a faceless, soulless company that only cares about saving money.Living here has been a nightmare. And rent is only going up. One star for living above a Whole Foods.

I never leave reviews, but my experience here has been an absolute nightmare. I wish I could give it a zero. The leasing office never returns calls unless you reach out over and over for weeks. There is constant turnover in the office which leaves whoever is left unavailable. My AC was out for an entire month and was 82 degrees. I wasn’t offered a hotel. I actually had to call six times and leave messages for the leasing office to even talk to me. I was told they were “very busy” as if that made up for the face that I couldn’t even comfortably sleep in my own home and worried my pet would be left unwell when I went to work.I wasn’t offered an in unit fan until the day the ac finally was fixed after an entire month by then. The maintenance man is fantastic, but this was a larger problem than him. After all this, I was barely compensated for the month of extreme discomfort and lack of care to a resident’s health. In the winter, my entire floor had no heat as well for a whole week. They gave us an in unit space heater that barely raised the heat in my 55 degree apartment. It also couldn’t be left on when we went to work which made it super ineffective. You can also expect to have the fire alarm going off a lot in the summer to the point where no one even leaves the building because you can’t determine when it’s a real emergency. Whatever you do, avoid this place and don’t waste your money/ risk your health and energy.

Moved in a week ago. Thought having a Whole Foods attached to the building would be a nice feature but there are just shopping carts lining the hallways of the building. No one from management seems to care about this. Every time I want to get back to my apartment I have to move around them. It’s very disappointing that management doesn’t enforce rules on their residents.

This place is awesome. Unfortunately, there has been a problem I have noticed since last year. The lightbulbs in each stairwell keep failing and burning out. I have no clue what the problem could be, either it is the bulbs being too old, easy to fail (I am assuming they are fluorescent bulbs or CFLs), or it could be a circuit inside that probably failed inside the light. There are two lights that are burnt out in stairwell 5 on the second floor of the west tower. I remember one of the lights have been replaced, but failed after 9 or 10 months of replacement. This is not good and is a red flag because when you have to evacuate the building using the stairs, if there are many lightbulbs burned out in there, this is dangerous, as people may not be able to see where they are going. So my suggestion is that you should replace these lights to LEDs as they have a less chance of failing and can last longer.
