Porsche Bethesda, and brand ambassador Dexter Jay, completely exceeded my expectations in assisting me in my recent purchase of a beautiful 2026 Porsche Macan. Dexter's support through the selection, test drive, design and delivery of my new vehicle was outstanding. In 2023, I purchased my Porsche from Porsche Bethesda. Upon my initial visit, I was greeted by a sales associate whose name I do not recall at this time. His demeanor was condescending and dismissive. I had just come from another Porsche dealership and was prepared to make a purchase that same day, but wanted to explore my options across dealerships.
During the interaction, the sales representative made inappropriate and racially charged remarks, implying that he would not “waste his time” allowing me to test drive a vehicle because they were “very expensive.” I was accompanied by my father, who quickly became frustrated by the representative’s unprofessional and discriminatory behavior. I am a successful and established professional, though I appear younger than my age (late 30s). The encounter was not only offensive but completely inconsistent with the standards expected of a luxury brand.
After my father voiced his concerns, I was approached by the manager, Malcolm, who offered an apology and reassigned me to another representative. Within approximately 40 minutes, I was completing paperwork for the purchase. the transaction was finalized, but the experience left a lasting negative impression.
Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. Over the past two years, I have experienced consistent lapses in communication and accountability from Porsche Bethesda’s service and management team. I have made multiple inquiries regarding my vehicle and service matters that were never returned or properly addressed.
More recently, on October 30, 2025, I received a parking citation in Washington, D.C. for not displaying a front license plate. When I initially purchased the vehicle, I contacted the dealership about the absence of mounting holes for a front plate. Malcolm, the same manager, informed me that the State of Maryland did not require front plates information that influenced my decision not to have one installed. This statement has now proven to be incorrect, as I have been ticketed despite following the dealership’s guidance.
When I contacted Porsche Bethesda to request written confirmation of the advice I was given, or at minimum a statement acknowledging the misrepresentation, I was told by Malcolm that the dealership “could not legally” provide any written documentation. This lack of accountability has been deeply disappointing.
I expect professionalism, accurate information, and ethical business practices consistent with the standards of the Porsche brand. Instead, my experience with Porsche Bethesda has been marked by misinformation, discriminatory treatment, and repeated failures in communication.

Went on a Saturday afternoon, dealers were not as enthusiastic towards customers that walk in as I would expect—Never got to speak with one. So we helped ourselves by looking around. Maybe it would have been better if we had taken an appointment. The cars are obviously nice, you cant go wrong with German engineering. My favorite thing in most of the cars were the speakers, they were all Bose. As an avid Bose fan myself who listen to music most of the day, this was very important. It was my nephew birthday and he wanted to test drive one of the cars since we are saving to get him one when he turns 18. He definitely loved all the cars. Maybe we will have better luck at another dealership. Fantastic cars. 🏎️🏎️🏎️

The process was truly amazing. From my initial contact with Malcom to the final steps with Daniel I have never been so happy to buy a car. Usually in a luxury brand the staff is not easy to deal with. This team is so down to earth and treats you like a king . I will be ordering my 911 from them next year.

Finding honest service seems increasingly rare when businesses charge for everything yet provide minimal customer support. After months of dealing with unresponsive dealerships and warranty quotes that varied by $5,000 (yes - $5K) for identical coverage, I was thoroughly frustrated.
My service manager at Porsche Bethesda, Phil, connected me with Josh Jones. Josh listened to my concerns (and frustration), researched my options, and presented solutions that saved me significant money. He could have pushed me toward expensive choices but didn’t.
I'm genuinely grateful to Josh and the organization for proving that good character still equals good business. This is the kind of honest, customer-focused service that we need more of today.

Good buying experience for a CPO Macan. However I would advise that you carefully review recommended service, prices are very high and in some cases they want to perform repairs for problems that don't exist. If you don't mind paying a high premium for their services so be it. But you can do better.

I purchased a 2026 911 Carrera S from Porsche Bethesda from out of state and it was a great experience. Brandon was excellent with the entire process and explained every step in detail since I was not in the area, from our first phone call, to text messages, to meeting in person and taking delivery. It was a very nice drive back home ; ) I will be back to see Brandon and Josh, and tell my friends and family.

Purchased a 2009 Cayenne GTS via their internet sales team. The truck, which was one of their trades, was in better condition than described. I was assured by Kevin Gallagher that this is a good GTS and it is.
The truck drives like a new one and looks great for a 6 year old vehicle.
Thanks for the pleasant, no pressure transaction.
Year 7 update...still own the fun to drive GTS. No issues, just the usual maintenance stuff.
The best part...this GTS is a rare manual transmission model which has actually increased in value, exceeding the purchase price.
Year 9 update...after 35K enjoyable miles I sold this GTS on Bring A Trailer for a bit more than I paid for it. What a deal!

I just purchased a GR Corolla from Porsche Bethesda and I had the greatest shopping experience with Daniel O. - Brand Ambassador. Daniel was welcoming, knowledgeable, and was open and honest about car pricing. Daniel had the car ready for a test drive and allowed my family and I to get a great feel for the car. Daniel was very open to negotiating, as well as the manger Joshua J. They made it a great experience for buying my first car from a dealership, and I highly recommend working with Daniel!
