“I recently went in to get my passport renewed. it was a great experience. Super quick and easy! I am big on good customer service and Jen was amazing. So friendly and efficient and just an all around a really sweet person.”
“I keep my business PO box here and it's extremely friendly, Charlie always has a way to brighten my day. Although it does open up at 9:30 I would recommend waiting till maybe 10:15 to 10:30 before you swing by and around noon it closes for a brief period.”
“Been using this post office regular for almost 5 years. I ship a lot of packages and have never. Ce had an issue or problem. In and out in just a few minutes - great staff!”
“I just wanted to give a shout out to the employees at this location. This past month in particular there have been quite a few busy days at the post office, but they've kept the flow moving and are always super friendly and informative with any questions I have. I really appreciate the way they have been operating lately as I know it can get busy, so thank you!”
“New to the area came into the USPS, had a not so friendly clerk that was cold and insinuating in demeanor. Filled out the form to get a USPS BOX, then Im given a mire uobeat, friendlier agent, who answered additional questions. Gave me keys to my box and when i went to the box, I knew I needed a bigger size. She politely handle her customer and told me I didnt have to wait, she upsized my box and gave me keys. Went to see the box and the box wouldn't open. Went back and she apologized, for not unlocking the box and walk me back, to the box to double check its open. She was nice and went above shame i couldnt remember her name. But she knows my box _32.”
“A majority of the staff is great at this location and go above and beyond, making it easy to support USPS.
However, there’s a staff member with dark red hair on Wednesdays who is unprofessional, rude, and will not do basic tasks commensurate with the position.
She said today, “every time I come to this office in Rising Sun, I’m fighting with people about what we do and don’t do.” The other staff members perform tasks that do not require a massive amount of time, but goes a long way to encourage repeat customers.
If one staff member is fighting with customers, maybe they shouldn’t be there.
This was our fourth interaction. The first time, she ignored the growing line while walking past us. I complimented her hair, and she stopped walking past me and helped me. The second, she was on the phone for five minutes with her son, which is fine, I get it- but given additional issues, it’s just another thing. The third time, she mocked my voice back at me when I asked a question. A piece of tape came loose. I said, oh hey, I left my tape at home and this is breaking- I didn’t see it, so you mind taping it quickly? She mimicked my voice back to me and said. “No we don’t do that!” It was unpleasant. Today, I walked in and had an address and she said I had to write the address on the box so that she could print a label to adhere to the box over my writing and insisted that I could tape my piece of paper to the box if I didn’t want to write it on the box. I have never had that issue at that post office. It felt very petty. She called her manager, who said, yes, we do that. And that’s when she hung up and said she regularly argues with customers.
So… avoid USPS on Wednesdays.”
“The lady who waited on me was very nice and friendly she helped me with a couple of things I had to handle there today. Especially the coa. They're friendly and helpful at the northeast post office.”
