We called and were told if we brought them in soon, they could be ready by the following afternoon which would've been the day before. Our dresses were ready to go within 03 hrs. “I tried this place several years ago (before the current owner) and said I’d never go back because it was so dreary. I NEVER saw anyone other than the patrons and even they were limited. It was almost as if it was operating on autopilot BUT NOW… this is one of the most lively laundromat’s to go to. It’s clearly staffed, well maintained and everything is always in working order. OHHH… let’s not forget the fluff & fold service!Get a Load of This definitely gets my vote!! ??”

“This was my first time using a laundry service, and I have to say that every staff member that I interacted with did such an amazing job with customer service and ensuring that everything I needed for my elderly disabled mother was taken care of. From the guys who took calls to the people who washed the clothes to the delivery man, all the customer service was top-notch notch and I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to someone else. No odors, just clean smelling perfectly folded clothes. A little pricey but for that kind of experience I don't mind the costs.”
“This is my go to place for cleaning and restoring all my shoes. It was much easier to take my favorite pair of Js or Air Max to have them refreshed rather than trying to find them again and paying the high prices now. In a time of things being so exspensive this place is a def go to for me. Also you can donate shoes so if you have shoes you do not know what to do with donate them so they can go to someone that needs them.”
“I have been on the Hill since dirt was discovered here; I ran my own biz here for 25 years(Splash Car Wash). This business is well run and Mrs. Kim is a jewel. I had a dress(tuxedo) shirt damaged here once, years ago, and she covered the replacement cost. This remains my go-to place, and it should be yours.”
“I had a emergency my zipper broke on my pants and I had to be to work in 3 hours I went to 5 cleaners and no one would help everyone said 5-6 days I said what are you serious but I came here in just 5 mins they hooked a sister up fix my pants and I was on my way thank you Allah. “Wow!! Skips is a nice liquor store in the neighborhood that has been there for a very long time at one time there was a crowd of folks that hung around the store all day begging for money but they have cleaned it up and you feel much safer going there now”
“I did laundry on new year eve. About 5:15 they locked doors so everyone could go home. Okay cool. The staff to everyone that were closing early due to new year eve. But, they never stated 6pm unless you asked them even them seem a lil unsure about that time. Paying customers had just start drying clothes . Another customer clothes were still washing and the janitor was trying to rush me others to hurry up and finish kindly ask the staff to check the lent drawer. It never got done. Janitor was telling me to push the start button on the dryers after I saw the green light and at the same time was trying be smart. Then the janitor had audacity to try to argue with me when I told him the machines were started. The floors were not swept or mopped when I walked into this laundromat. Other these issues the staff were kind and helpful”

“They are, by far, the best dry cleaners in this area, and they do great alterations work too. And they are such nice people, too. Their prices do seem very high (they have definitely gone up over the past few years). I'm not sure how this compares to other dry cleaners; I haven't felt the need to go anywhere else because they are so nice and do great work.Services: Special care fabric cleaning”

“They had the disposable foil pans for a lot cheaper than the other stores, but parking was horrific. Not sure if it was due to it being the weekend before Thanksgiving or if this was typical.”
“Under new management since the summer of 2022. They have new washers and dryers. The machines now accept payment via Dexter Pay, so that you don't have to lug around quarters.”

“I've gone to Amax consistently for over a year and they're the best dry cleaning service in the area. I don't know why the reviews are so bad (maybe management turned over). I've only experienced absolute hospitality, flexibility, and professionalism from the Women who work here. Prices are consistent and fair, and everything comes back clean and well-handled. They also have a tailor who comes weekly to do alterations, and they do an amazing job. I've had multiple pairs of pants altered at the waist, hip, and ankle to satisfaction. I've seen others have leather/pleather worked on as well. The team is super hardworking and will take time to talk to you about more bespoke issues, like cashmere that's been shrunken or odd stains that won't come out.I don't normally leave reviews, but this place needs a rating closer to 5 stars.”
“Very neighborhood friendly LAUNDROMAT brand new dryers new technology touchscreen wonderful nice big washers clean Place the washing machine soap dispensers are clean which you don't see often clean at the bigger Laundromats very nice as the mom and Pop feel which we're all looking for great Place if you're not in a rush or hurry meaning you can take your time go do something else and come back no one there to take out your clothes and put them somewhere else you know that sort of thing great spot.”
