Incompetent, rude staff. I happily severed my relationship with FNB shortly after their acquisition of Howard Bank. Good riddance!

They use a nasty trick to charge you $53 when closing your account. On the day I transferred they deducted $3.99 from my account for a paper statement fee which I never agreed to and used to be free. Then because the check I wrote was greater than my balance I got charged $37 for an overdraft fee. Then another $12 for a negative balance fee. Have been a loyal customer here for 10 years but that was an incredible kick in the butt they gave me on my way out. Tellers are also incredibly nosy. Have before been interrogated as to what I was withdrawing my money for. If you have an account, i urge you to close it down immediately and ask for your money in cash. Then ask for a written statement that your account is closed and they're not going to pull any more tricks to charge you money. This is an incredibly corrupt bank.

We love our FNB, we use them for personal and business banking. Always friendly and available when needed. Tons of branches to choose from in our immediate vicinity. Highly recommended for a great banking experience!
