“This is a very large store and they have pretty much everything you want from firewood, starters, beer, wine, fast food, coffee, snacks. The place is kept clean and seems to be well run. The staff has always been friendly. I stop in for beer or sometimes grab firewood here.”

“Well, What do you know! this little building with the sign on top - Jim Denny's - serves great food. Who woulda thought. The neighborhood is entertaining as well. So, my family and I were in Sacramento for my niece's wedding and staying at a motel 1/2 block away. We asked the staff at the motel to suggest a place for lunch and they pointed across the alley and said take a small left. There it is. So we went and we were a little aghast when we entered this place. Not so big. Not so fancy. No cute little hostess with a bundle of menus under her arm. But the cooks are very friendly and call out to you as you enter. It was good fun to sit on the stools and watch meals being prepared right before your very eyes. The cook was flipping burgers and frying up some potatoes and who knows what else. So, for some good American food with lots of flavor, go to Jim Denny's. You will be glad you did..”
