I love their stuff. It's just a little pricey. I love it when they have sales, but they need to change the stuff they have on sales every once and a while.

We went on pontoon boat tour. Ray knew everything about Deep Creek and we enjoyed our outing and learning about the history. The only thing we didn’t like about the tour was at the end we were told to please come back but when we went home to tell everybody Deep Creek was awful and not to go there because the locals did not want more people trying to commercialize the area with things like a Starbucks. We found that offensive as we respect nature and all of its beauty and are not responsible for the commercialism of Deep Creek over the years. We were providing income to a local business who prospered by our being there that day. We have come to Deep Creek over the years to relax, enjoy the solitude, lake, and nature and yes we go out a few times. We also shared we had eaten at Dutch’s and were told, ‘okay now I know what kind of people we are dealing with; ones who spend a lot of money to eat out’. I work hard for my living as a nurse and special education teacher; saving my money for vacation but again I was supporting a local business and offended as I was being judged without knowing who I really am. We were planning on going back into store to make a few purchases of clothing and shoes we saw prior to tour but decided to take our business elsewhere.

Had a great tour of the lake with Ray. It was a lot of fun, despite the fact that we got caught in a deluge. I would definitely recommend.

Took the pontoon boat tour. Much more economical than renting a pontoon and being responsible for problems or damage. Ray was our guide and there isn’t anything he doesn’t know about Deep Creek Lake. The tour was interesting and fun and over too soon. We will definitely do it again.

The pontoon boat tour was fantastic. Our tour guide told our crew fun stories about the area, not just the standard tourist history pitch. I wanted to go again as soon as our tour ended. Highly recommend. My staff experience inside the store was not positive... I arrived 10 mins before the tour departure time and was told repeatedly I was late and the rest of the guests had arrived on time. Late or early, being shamed by a staff member (don't want to embarrass her by using her name) in front of the store patrons and other staff was very uncomfortable. I will look for other boating options on future trips.

Had a great experience doing a boat tour with High Mountain Sports. Here for a long weekend, we were on the fence about renting a boat vs just doing a tour. We ended up going with the latter and scheduled a tour for five adults with them. Prices are very reasonable, for the 5 of us it was much cheaper than renting a boat (at least for the other places we were looking at). There is parking behind the building so use that if nothing is available up front. Staff was very friendly. It was a very stress-free experience. Our guide was great and full of lots of information. We booked the tour for an hour and it ended up being closer to 90 minutes. Would definitely recommend using them for a tour.

My wife and I did a pontoon boat tour of Deep Creek Lake. Ray was the tour guide, and he was friendly and knowledgeable. Having lived here for so long, Ray knew a lot about the history of the lake, and pointed out interesting sites. Even though it was a bit cold out, this did not damper the experience at all, because of the service provided. Also, the booking process was super easy. We would definitely recommend it.

All the staff are very friendly! Josh (I believe was his name) took great care of the group I was with. We rented bikes, they handled very well. Working with him, Jamie, and the rest of the crew was like working with family! Thank you all for making my friends Bachelor weekend one to remember!Prices are pretty good too. We paid $22 for almost 3hs

Staff was incredibly rude - did not greet us and it seemed we were bothering them with our presence. It’s a shame because we had a great experience at the coffeehouse next door and this soured our quick outing. Avoid this place.

Shopped online. Needed snowboard boots on a very tight timeline that were sold out everywhere else.Talked to a gentleman named Ken who went out of his way to make sure I got what I needed in time.

We stopped by to get extra gear before our snowboarding lessons and were assisted by Heather and Jamie. They made sure my gloves fit properly, helped us choose some entry-level goggles, and gave a bunch of tips on staying warm on the mountain and staying safe while snowboarding. We really appreciated their expertise!

Rented 2 SUPs for the week. Had them delivered & the cost was reasonable. Never having used a SUP prior, after 2 days I realized it wasn't for me so we paddled down to HMS and they were super helpful and allowed me to exchange my SUP for a kayak. From the phone call to gather information to the return of equipment, their customer service was outstanding. For that reason alone, I highly recommend HMS and they will be my go-to rental for future Deep Creek vacations.
