Stopped by to do some ATT account business today (11/30) around 2:15. The store was closed, no sign of anyone around. Posted hours indicated it was open. Disappointed, drove for 20 minutes to get there.

I went to the ATT Authorized Retailer in West Ocean City Maryland while visiting my daughter. One of worst ideas of my life to go to this store. I wanted to switch over from Verizon to ATT and purchase a new iPhone 15 Pro. The Opus system (Account set-up system) went down in the middle of the account set-up so the store representative called First Net for assistance.Apparently the First Net representative was going to take the store representative's commission so the store manager hung up with the First Net rep and opened a second account. In order to do so, he created a temporary phone number. Now I had two accounts, one with the temporary and my primary phone number and one with my daughters' phone numbers. The manager was able to migrate my number over to the original account but the temporary number was never canceled and it ported over as well. After spending 5 hours in the store and 1 hour on the phone with First Net while on a vacation to visit my daughter, I headed home. A week later, I received two bills. One for $43.50 from the second created account and one for $455.37 from the first created account. When I reviewed the bill details, the bill from the second account was with just my number and included line activation fee, insurance and taxes and fees. The second bill had my three lines (mine and my 2 daughters) as well as the temporary number. I also noted, the temporary number was charged for an iPhone 15 Pro on installments, activation fee, insurance, the ATT Next Up plan, and taxes and fees. In addition, the store representative charged me Next Up and insurance on my daughters' phone which we own. This was done without my permission. Finally, ATT has a promotion for two weeks of free Direct TV. I told the store representative I was not interested in the service. She refused to take my "no" as an answer and told me I could just return the equipment to my nearest ATT store once I received it at my home. When I got home from Ocean City, the Direct TV equipment was on my porch. The next day, I took it to my nearest ATT store in Gettysburg unopened. It was accepted by that representative who told me the OC representative should have never done that and considered it fraud. I have made 5 phone calls to First Net to take care of this and my account issues for a total 7 hours including wait time and 3 trips into my local ATT store. I just received an email from Direct TV stating they charged my credit card $84.79 for Direct TV service. The representative at my local ATT store told me I would have to call Direct TV who was kind enough to cancel the account and also the EARLY TERMINATION FEE. She said the ATT store representative should have gone over all of the details of the Direct TV CONTRACT when she signed me up for the service. Unbelievable! This store representative gets a commission off of every Direct TV account. Signing customers up for services they don't want is fraud and completely unethical.Right, Wells Fargo! Shame on you ATT that you allow your representatives to conduct these business practices and the ownness is on the customer to straighten them out or pay. I am now 2.5 weeks from my initial trip to that OC store and I still trying to get my ATT account straightened out. To make matters worse, my first bill is due in 4 days. It seems First Net does not know how to cancel a phone line that has a fraudulent iPhone installment plan. BEWARE, be very careful for what is happening to you when you go into an ATT store.

Inventory low. Went in with a help phone issue, that I have been paying for. Could not help me. Nothing against the young lady, she tried, stayed with us to resolve the issue. More so a company can't help you issue. I have been with AT&T for quite a while, think that they, Who ever would do the best to resolve the problem. Nothing against the young lady. She just couldn't help.

I bought a phone from Curtis Kamara at the Ocean Gateway location in Ocean City. I have to start with a stupid thing I did. I just got a survey to fill out and I mistakenly hit 1 star instead of 5. I am mortified because Curtis was by far the best sales rep I have ever done business with. Thank you, Curtis!

Came in today trying to resolve an issue switching off my dads phone plan. I was explaining to the female sales associate, who was wearing a septum ring piercing, that my dad was having a lot of anxiety about his plan possibly changing and it was causing conflict and I wanted to see if there was a way I could switch as an authorized user without the passcode. After she answered his questions, on the phone, she told me “your dad seems chill. Maybe you’re the one being dramatic.” So much for being a professional business.

If I could give this business minus stars I would. When they transfer all my husband’s data fro his old phone to his new phone, they deleted all of our photos from our entire vacation. Very upsetting. If you need to do this,DO NOT go to the A&T and T store; call Apple instead or ask a kid. They have to be smarter than the people there.

We worked with Zander to upgrade our phone. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the programs & promotions. It's a time consuming task and was easy with great service. We got a case and accessories. It was a good experience.

I told an associate wearing a septum piercing that I was having trouble getting off my dads phone plan and switching to prepaid because my dad was having anxiety about his bill changing and wouldn't give me authorization. I believe the associate's name is Olivia. She said she would be willing to talk to my dad. After she spoke with my dad and told him to call 611, she tried offering me numerous plans after I told her many times I was only looking for prepaid. She kept pushing plans on me saying, "But don't you want a smart watch? Who doesn't want a smart watch?" I found this to be extremely rude among the fact she was wearing a septum piercing at her job. After I refused her sales attempts many times and continuously explained I wanted to switch to prepaid, she said that 611 had to deal with it. I proceeded to call 611 and they said the sales associate is supposed to set it up. She then started arguing with the person on the 611 number. After I decided to just leave, as I was headed for the door, she says to me, "hey, your dad seemed pretty chill. Maybe you are the one being dramatic."After this whole incident, I am considering leaving AT&T. I have never had such unprofessional treatment from a business.

I just want to say my experience with Curtis was amazing. I dropped my phone while fishing offshore and he was able to get me rolling with a new phone and get all my backup info with an hour of losing it. Honestly one of the most helpful nicest people I’ve ever dealt with. He’s the man.

Our exchange student paid $60 yesterday to get a monthly plan on his phone. The technician had trouble getting it to work, but he just sent him home and said that after a couple of hours it should work. It did not, and still has not worked. We went back to the store, and it has been determined that the technician did not realize that the phone was not compatible, and the manager said that it was the technician's fault, but they are unwilling to do anything or give him his money back. It's unacceptable. This student is here on scholarship. He's not one of the students that has wealthy parents who paid for him to come.
