My 15 year old daughter asked for 4 or 5 inches cut! The stylist put her hair in a ponytail and cut it while it was dry! I kid you not it was more like 8 plus inches my child was devastated and cried the entire time! Who does that especially when she showed the stylist with her hands how much! Will not be returning’!

I don’t know where to start, my sister called to set up a bridal hair appt, we were never given a contract she was never informed they just scheduled! Let’s fast forward to the day I was getting my hair done, the hair stylist was nice but said she didn’t know why she was blocked off so long of a slot and then when she got in to work was told she had to do a brides hair and she was unaware of that until that morning and stated multiple times she doesn’t do bride hair that another stylist does, my bridal party had to leave to start to get ready it was me and my friend left, I showed her a look I wanted we tried it didn’t work so I came up myself with another solution to try long story short the stylist stated she didn’t know what to do several times but I was running out of time and my friend said we will redo this at the hotel, the stylist stated she didn’t want us to have unfortunately we did! My sister paid before hand for my hair which came to 150 dollars and I left a tip and I left with a ponytail and 2 curls. So we called to see what can be done the owner of course seen it her way and came up with several excuses so she told my sister she’d look into it and call her back she never did! I didn’t want anything for free! But at least charge for the wash “that I didn’t need” and flat iron which only should’ve been 60-70 top! I tried to call the salon today no response back! So yea 1 star review
I will update my review after I spoke with the owner, she did end up refunding half of the money back which was a good thing.

Worst experience ever. The lady was nice but my nails looks insanely bad. I got cut by the file, the polish is all over my hands and is crazy smeared. I was there from 10:30-1:30 and left with horrible results. Wrong shape and everything. do not recommend!

I broke my leg 4 weeks ago and have been recovering since. It’s been tough to say the least as an active mother, wife, and professional. Today I decided to pop in to Bliss and see if they had any walk in slots for a simple shampoo, cut, style. The receptionist said they didn’t have any openings when the owner walked by and heard us. The owner said just give her 5 minutes and that should would be happy to take me! Needless to say, we had great conversation, the salon is super cute, she did an amazing job with my wild hair and I feel like 100 bucks! Thank you so much for taking me on a whim and doing a fantastic job! I love my hair!

1 star is overrated ... my wife and mother in law just went for a manicure and massage . They cut my mother in laws finger , told her they couldn't complete her service. What kind of service is that ?

If you’re coming to Ocean City for a wedding, please avoid this place at all costs. They did such a horrible job on both my hair and makeup. I was crying an hour before my wedding, trying to fix my fallen curls (my hair is naturally curly/wavy) and the absolutely horrendous makeup that I had done at this place.I honestly have no idea how they did such a terrible job, especially because I did come in for a consult first. The consult was pretty good, I even took photos outside after and went to dinner with my hair and makeup on. On my wedding day I just wanted a couple minor things changed, like adding a bit more wing to my eyeliner and using a different lip color. Instead of minor changes, my entire look was changed. My hair was styled with a flat iron and curled, causing the curls to just fall flat within an hour. I had curls framing my face, so one side had a lovely curl and the other side fell completely straight. During my consult, a totally different hair tool was used to curl my hair and it looked lovely and held for hours. I don’t understand why it was changed. The makeup was the worst part. My face and neck were two different shades. I’m very pale and let the stylist know my dress was going to be lower cut, but she still made my face three shades darker than my natural skin tone. I don’t think this person understood what blending was because my contouring was awful, unblended, and too dark. The eyeshadow? Also poorly blended and made my eyes look smaller than they are—also the eyeshadow was a lot darker than I asked for. In the photos you can also see an entire area that she missed when applying foundation, so I have this pale streak on my neck, where she also scratched me with her fake nails. You can clearly see a huge scratch in every photo, prominently displayed on the pale splotch on my neck. The eyelashes were the biggest joke. They were so poorly applied, you could see clumps of glue. They were not flattering and when she finished applying them, I immediately felt so much regret because they couldn’t be removed. I asked how long the lashes would last and she told me at least two weeks. Two days later my eyes were so red and irritated that I went to an actual salon and spa to have them removed. The lash tech who removed them told me that the glue that was used should never be used for lashes and that it had clumped and dried so badly that I actually lost some of my own lashes as she very slowly removed the glue and lashes that the other stylist had improperly applied. Please save yourself heartache if you’re getting married or if you’re going to be part of the wedding party. Bridal makeup is so important, we had photos and video taken that I can’t even stand to look at. I didn’t look like myself at all and I especially didn’t look like a more beautiful version of myself.Thank you so much Bliss Salon & Spa for doing such a horrible job that another salon had to fix your terrible work. I’m so glad that I cry when I look at my photos and that I spent extra money to fix problems you caused because I did not trust you to fix them. If my makeup had looked like it did during my consult, I would have been pretty happy.Services: Hairstyling

Bliss Salon & Spa catered to my bridal services. I was repeatedly informed how the bridal contract was very strict. No last minute changes are allowed per their policy, etc. If no last minute changes were allowed, then what gives them the right to change things on me? The price I paid for my grandmother's hair service was not what was listed on the bridal contract. The receptionist said "it's probably because the stylist used both a straightener and a curling iron for the hair styling" That seems to me like the stylist made that decision to use both of those hot tools. It wasn't asked for. Especially considering my grandma went in there not caring too much what the stylist was going to do- she didn't want anything over the top, she just wanted her hair done nicely for my wedding. I just don't think it's right how they can add on extra charges last minute but I was not allowed to change anything last minute. Service was ok.
