First their customer service is really just genuine friendliness. Second the shop is just beautiful. Third it is clear a lot of thought goes into the goods they sell. Nice stuff and pure quality. Lastly, they guided and outfitted our family through our kids adventures in learning to surf. Beyond great.

I’ve never owned a wetsuit in my life, walked in the store, and Blair gave me the in’s and outs, explained exactly what I needed and why for the conditions I was looking for, and had me sized up in no time. Can’t thank him enough for taking the time to educate me, and not trying to sell me more than I needed. Great store and awesome customer service!

Always pleasant vibes...I stop in a few times a year... usually to get a new Sunshine House long sleeve T for me or friends, that didn't know they still exist...and for those that don't know...Blair... from the original iconic SUNSHINE HOUSE surf shop is often in there, a true Surfer wealth of knowledge...Awesome!!

Visted Chauncey’s on a whim because it was pouring rain and my sibling was looking for a hat. We walked in the main store and were pleasantly surprised! It was air-conditioned, well organized, and had relaxed vibes overall. The man at the register was so friendly and nice too! We got the hat but had to come back before our trip was over for more souvenirs. Highly recommend you at least stop in to check it out! You’ll probably leave with something in hand.

This surf shop is so nice with cute stuff, the people there are so nice and helpful! I loved the whole experience! It also includes water bottles, sunglasses, jewelry, nice clothes (all genders)!!!!! Trust me this is one of the most perfect surf shops in O.C! Please visit!!!

It's authentic, it's real, it's quite simply THE BEST surf shop in Ocean City. Each year, a visit to Chauncey's a must or it will feel like l hadn't been to OC at all!

I just got a nice wetsuit. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and helped me make the best choice for me. He was very helpful and didn’t try to upswell me at all. BTW this is a real surf shop filled with surf and skate gear not some t shirt shop masquerading as a surf shop.

If you’re going to Ocean City you have to stop at Chauncey’s! We go here every year no matter where we stay on the coast, we are sure to make the trip. They have a little bit of everything you might want and their tshirt designs are always cool.

my favorite shop in OC. just stopped in with my girls who were pumped to check out the long boards and clothes. lady behind the counter was immediately rude when my daughter asked about a set of wheels. never had that experience before so I expressed my feelings and we left. super disappointed.

What A Great Staff, knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. William is so rad and the perfect ambassador for the store. I was looking for a specific surfboard for my fiance. Blair tracked down the board and had it expedited for Father's Day. Worth the trip to see the vintage skateboards and surfboards.
