While on vacation, I broke down in Ocean City, MD. I called OC Affordable Auto Repair. Kevin answered saying he would try to fit me into his busy schedule. I dropped my TJ off at 1pm. Mike fixed it and was finished at 5pm. Millie stayed past their closing time and returned my vehicle. Thank you OC Shell! Courteous and accommodating. You saved my vacation.

Had my brother wait there all day for tire work, then tried to overcharge him. Never go to this station for honest repairs.

Very poor customer service. I live in Pennsylvania and all the shell gas stations have bathrooms for the public and customer service is great. Will not ever return to this location.

Owner will rip you off!! Took me for $50 to fix a leak and never fixed anything. And then he tried ripping my 78 year old mom off. Quoted my mom $550 to fix a rear light. Parts $300 and installation $250.. Mike Dent Auto did for $125 for everything. Light clips right in. Takes 1 minute to install. This guy wanted $250!! Stay away from this location!!! You will get ripped off!!

I was vacationing in Ocean city with my wife, daughter, and her friend. We were driving south down Philadelphia ave almost to the 50 bridge when my 99 f250 7.3 diesel started sputtering. I was able to drift into the shell’s parking lot. The owner met me outside and signaled me to shut it off. I got out of the truck and told him that the truck was reading a 1/4 tank but was acting like it ran out of fuel. I told him I had never had a problem with the fuel gauge before. He asked what I wAnted to do. I said I think I need to start with putting diesel in it. I asked if he had any. he said no. So I said I guess I’m walking. I walked across the 50 bridge and got 2 gallons from Exxon. When I came back I put 1 gallon in the tank and started to open the fuel filter to prime the system. He jumped up from his couch and asked What I thought I was doing. I. Explained to him that the truck will not start without being primed. He said he would not allow me to do that. I said okay. I asked if I needed to pay a mechanic an hour of shop time to do it for me. He just laughed smugly and said they’ll diagnose it. They said there was 3 cars ahead of me. I got a ride back to my campground and waited for a call. They never called. I called them around 5pm and they said they were 2 hours into it and hadn’t figured it out yet. I call back at 5 min of 6 and it went to their answering machine. Then, my wife told me that while they were waiting for me to return with fuel my 12yo daughter asked if she could use theBathroom. He proceeded to lecture her about respect or something. He also said that he would have given me a ride for a few bucks. But didn’t offer until I was gone walking for fuel. I knew I had to get the truck out of there. I called up a reputable tow company in the area to meet me there the following morning at 7 when the garage opened. The shell station had the fuse panel removed on the truck. They told me I owed them $100 for a diagnostic the owner said something about low fuel pressure and possibly a cAm position sensor. We towed the truck to the Exxon on the other side of the 50 bridge. We fueled the truck up and primed the system And it fired up. This guy is a smug, scam artist. I believe they are unqualified to work on diesel vehicles. I made a mistake running the truck so low, and I now know of a problem with the fuel gauge. But that does not give this a$$hole the right to take advantage of people.

Car broke down, was told they might be able to fix it that day. Have it towed there, then guy looks under the hood and pushed the clutch pedal , get told they will be able to do better diagnostics Monday. I was 5 hours away from home, possibly working on it Monday and who knows when to fix it. I tell them no I made other arrangements then to get chard $50 for looking under my hood. After a 5 hour wait for my husband to bring a trailer to take it home stopped at the auto parts store mentioned what happened and was told I'm better off the owner is a scam artist and it was best never to take a vehicle there.
