This Wockenfuss Candies shop at least is great if you’re looking for a candy shop with plenty of variety of treats. However, since the salt water taffy there didn’t contain any salt water in it and had some food colorings that looked suspicious to me, I wouldn’t recommend this place to get the iconic beach treat. Then again, it could just be me.
I do like their coconut chocolates, by the way, along with some of their adorable seagull merchandise. I love seagulls that carry fries in their mouths.
Dietary restrictions: They sell sugar free chocolates for those needing to get their chocolate fixing without worrying about calories too much.

Recipe changed? The dark chocolate raspberry jellies are not the same. We've been buying them in Ocean City for the last 4 years but they're definitely not the same ones as they are on the mainland, plus yesterday my husband was eating a chocolate covered cherry and it had a pit in it. It seems like their quality has gone down.

I come down every year and I prefer candy from your store. I won't be able to come till the 2 - 4 of October hopefully your store will be open so I can get my candy we love.

This is my favorite place to get fudge in Ocean City Maryland. They have a fantastic break on fudge and always have plenty to choose from. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and the store is very pleasant to come into and clean and plenty to choose from.

It’s ok, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again. The candy is not worth the price. It doesn’t taste very good, and it’s SO expensive.
I will say that the establishment is clean, and the workers are wonderful!

A really great place to get some fudge and chocolates. They have a great variety of gourmet chocolates and fudge. They taste amazing and the staff are very friendly and patient. I would highly recommend going and getting some items from here.

The candy store on the boardwalk was fantastic!! The taffy is delicious just like I remember. The service was excellent, friendly, and super helpful. Looking forward to my next visit.

Came in last night to get chocolate and taffy with my family I’m disappointed. Karina was very rude and had an attitude she rolled her eyes when I asked questions, she was rude to my son also. I almost walked out if it hadn’t been for the other girl kelsie working that night picking up on it she helped my son finish with his order she was amazing and made their visit memorable.

We love Wockenfuss. Every time we’re here we make a stop in and stock up. The mini truffles are amazing and by far my personal favorite. The jumbo homemade peanut butter cups are good too. The fudge is delicious. The saltwater taffy comes in so many flavors and is so tasty. We also love the chocolate shells. Those are the kid’s favorite thing and we get at least two bags when we go. If you’re in the area definitely stop and get amazing candy.

During our annual pilgrimage to Ocean City, we always look forward to a visit to the Wockenfuss Candy store on the boardwalk. Introduced to Wockenfuss by our parents years ago, we couldn't wait to introduce our grandchildren to the incredibly delicious chocolate (King Tut and pistachio marzipan being our favorites). We visited late in the evening on a weeknight and although the line was out the door, service was fast, efficient and friendly. Staff was patient and helpful as we made our choices. The store was sparkling clean even at the end of the day and the display cabinets were easy for all to view, even the little ones. Craving more the next morning, we again visited before our departure. We arrived at the store as they were opening and encountered Justin, who could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable regarding all the choices, and the Wockenfuss brand. Don't know whether he is actually part of the Wockenfuss family, but if not, they should consider adopting him. So glad we were able to introduce a new generation to Wockenfuss, truly the best chocolate in the universe. So nice to meet Justin too.
