Truly wish I could give zero stars. I recently moved into the area and was happy when I thought I found an affordable nail place but there’s a reason they’re so affordable and the reviews are trash. I asked if they could do a specific design and they said they could then once it was time to actually do the design, they straight up said sorry they actually don’t know how to do it. I was running late for work so I just asked for a basic French with a blue glitter color and that honestly looked so bad too that I came and got it removed the very next day 😭😭😭. The entire application process was really bad and my fingers got cut a bunch. I wasn’t even going to mention this but today was my last straw. My mom came to get the nails she had done at their salon removed(she was becoming a regular), she was planning on coming back for a manicure but she just wanted the nails removed today but they insisted she still had to pay the $15 fee which is not even a problem. The same man who had done my acrylic nails that I hated then insisted that she was being rude/mean and then said he didn’t want to do her nails in a condescending manner so we decided to respectfully leave. I always wondered why they had bad reviews but I see why now. Truly wouldn’t recommend. I honestly think it might just be the one man there ruining it for everyone else because the lady that usually did my pedicures was so amazing so shoutout to her.

I have coming there for years. I would say over 15 years. And the service these past couple of years is not what it used to be. Last time I got my toenails done they put gel polish on my toenails, which I did not ask for, it was difficult to take off myself. When I call them the woman act like she couldn't understand English and was asking me to pay $10 to remove it. I figured out myself but will not go back there again. In addition, every time I ask for a French manicure using colored polish, they look at me like them I'm talking a crazy language and can never give me the design I want on my toenails. I'm done.

I am disappointed in the attitude and customer service I received. The lady doing my pedicure kept pressuring me to get additional services, to do gel and said things under her breath. When I asked her to say it again she said I didn't say anything.

I’m new to Maryland and this is the most raggedy shop I’ve been to in the 18 years I’ve got my nails done and I have traveled around the world! I got $30 a gel manicure 5 days ago and a whole hand was nail polish was peeling off. I went in and the lady told me I work to hard because I was in uniform (I’m military) I said ma’am I sit at a desk all day. She said well it’s when you type that’s how they chipped. Excuse me, she literally was able to take the remaining gel off with a tweezer. She charged me $10 for that! Argued me down that I was going to pay. I just gave her my card because the retired crash out in me almost went off on that lady. Jokes on them, I’m stationed here for 3 years and I get my nails done faithfully every 2 weeks and I spread the word to other military girls. I should’ve know the shop was raggedy, and there were barley people in there both times I went. I didn’t like my manicure in the first place, but being new to the area, I decided to suck it up until I found another place. That’s until the peeling of the gel was so apparent. They are the GARBAGE on the bottom of my shoe, I wouldn’t waste a nickel at this trash bucket of an establishment. I wish I would’ve looked at the review LS before I went to this dump! Go to New Heaven nails, pricey but way way better than this dump!

They treated me like trash and are very racist. The man that took care of me didn’t know how to do French tips correctly, and he was very aggressive with my hands. To be specific he squeezed my hand, pulled, and he aggressively filed my nails. As he was doing his job he had an attitude towards me. I hope you guys can take this massage as an advice/warning when picking this nail place.

I came to Sliver Nails with my mom to get our nails done and I never been here before but trusted her choice as she frequent here for her nails. When we entered I was greeted by Linda and her Husband and she explained to me that he would be doing my nails and we proceeded to his chair. I showed him the picture before we got started and he said okay and began to file and shape my nails. When he told me to wash my hands I noticed he did not clean up my cuticles but he said he would after which was strange but I obliged. He then started on my French tips and when he showed me the first completed nail I told him it didn’t look like the picture that’s when he got upset slammed his nail tools down and left out of the salon speaking his native language. I sat in the chair confused when Linda said she would finish it for me but then I ended up waiting 30 mins and she could not accomplish the task either due to her answering the phone and booking clients in between her doing my nails and calming down her still upset husband. I would give zero stars if I could as the establishment was very dirty and lack of professionalism.

Entitled management that does not give customer what they ask for. Ask for hard gel but really could not fulfill the ask. I would have felt better if they told me they cannot do it to begin with. Then try to talk me into acrylic after I told them I do not wear acrylic And still tried to tell the man to give me Acrylic . Then understood I wanted a pedicure and let everyone go and told me everyone had left while she just excepted a walk-in . I felt as if they did not want to service me because I would not let them do what they wanted to do to my hands I was never mean or spoke out of tongue.
You are a regular you probably fit just fine but if you are a new customer, I would not recommend that you try this shop. Spend your earn money somewhere you will be appreciated and they will treat the customer right Not make a promise that they could fulfill a service and then pull it back in the shop did not close until 8 PM.

This is the second time visiting and I loved my service both times. It’s nice to know that I can come to a salon and they actually treat me like a person. My nails are beautiful. I came later in the day and I was not rushed at all. I will continue to return because I’m so pleased with this salon.

There will never be a time that you get there and they can’t do your nails. Hard working and really professional, I’ve moved outside odeton and still drive 25 min just to get my nails with them.

Good experience for a last minute decision! Good price and colors, however, my color got real dull and started chipping sooner than I thought it would or even should’ve. Otherwise I will return. My nail tech was really particular, that’s why I was surprised by the chipping color.

Worst pedicure ever by the older man. I've allowed his services 4 times, hoping for improvement. Today, when I stated I would wait for another technician because his work is poor, I was chastised for pointing out the substandard work. Unbelievable. Never again.
