Not enough carts for multiple people to use in unloading/loading for storage rooms. Storage room was full of trash when I opened it. They wouldn't give me a bulb to replace the one inside the storage room. Not extremely helpful when you ask for assistance.

Location staff are dishonest and applied the optional coverage package to my order when I explicitly declined it once on my reservation and two time in person during checkout. I would be consider another location when renting a truck.Additionally, while this does not impact my rating, renters should be aware that this is a gated U-Haul so after hour drop offs are not possible.

UPDATE: a Representative from Marketing Company called and this issue has been resolved. I am changing my rating because I am pleased with the resolution.When I made the reservation online… I elected to protect myself by choosing Smartmove Insurance. However, when I returned the vehicle… the Manager stated that I did not have Smartmove.Unfortunately, the driver side mirror was damaged overnight—so having this coverage saves me $550 to replace the mirror.I knew for a fact that I elected to cover myself when making the reservation, but the Manager rudely insisted that I did not. So after inquiring more—I was told that I DID sign up for Smartmove online, but requested that the Manager remove Smartmove when picking up the vehicle.This is not true. I did not choose Smartmove online—just to then remove it when I picked up the vehicle.The Manager removed the coverage without my permission and did not go over this change with me. My brother was witness to this exchange and can confirm that we never ever discussed insurance.I then asked the Manager to look up my 2nd reservation (that I ended up canceling) to see if Smartmove was elected and they confirmed that I DID sign up for the coverage ONLINE.This is when the Manager became belligerent, stormed out of the office, slamming the door, and proceeded to call the local police on me.I was not yelling, I didn’t even raise my voice. I’m a 6’2 African American Male… so you know what happens when you show any kind of aggression. Have you watched the news lately?!I was simply asking why the coverage was removed. And instead of taking accountability for the mistake… the Manager gas lighted me, stonewalled, and threatened me with Law Enforcement.This is not how you treat customers—Especially AFRICAN AMERICAN customers during times when there is a potential for interactions with Law Enforcement to go left.Yes, she was a Karen and I’ve spoken to Corporate!

Sadly this location is by far one of the worst experiences in customer service I have ever experienced.. Reserving a unit does not mean anything at at all. And the gentleman behind the counter, when I tell you I AM DEAF 4 TIMES and cannot hear what you are saying but continue to express anger at me, Are you really that ignorant? Even the customer behind be me waiting was amazed over your complete lack of care.There are plenty of options in this area, read the reviews here and you will see a trend.. And maybe clean the office, it was disgusting as well.

Tyrone worked hard to find a cart got us to use to move into our unit. The cart certainly needed some new wheels. But better than no cart for sure.

Very near the Mapes Rd gate, this is a great location. I’ve taken advantage of their services a number of times in the last year. They are always working hard and are always straightforward and friendly. Great pricing. Quick, efficient service. The staff knows all information you might need. Well maintained and clean trucks, and storage units.

Reserved a truck and showed up to be told they don't have it available even though I had confirmation of reservation and time. General manager is clearly incapable of running this place and highly unprofessional/rude. Went to Penske and they got us taken care of asap.
