Absolutely the worst CVS. There is absolutely no sense of urgency. They have no customer service. Drive thru especially is horrible!

There is an older lady (seems to be the manager) there who is constantly giving me attitude for no apparent reason! I constantly go there and do Uber Eats and DoorDash shoppings, and I saw her twice, and both times she was rude! She stresses me out every time! Not sure what her deal is!!

Friendly people; the guy who works nights on weekends is the best.

This would have been 3 stars but this particular CVS has greatly improved their handling/expediency of handling prescriptions. Much better/faster over the past 5-6 months.
KEEP it up!

Don’t send your prescriptions to Olney CVS, or CVS!!!!!! This individual pharmacy was already a disaster before they adopted a no phone policy.
Recently, they have switched over to answering machine only phone option where you must leave a message a wait to be called back. I was trying to get updates on my medication, and left 5 voicemails over a week period. I was never contacted, I finally went up to the pharmacy to get an update and they told me that they can’t fill my prescription at this time due to low inventory. I asked if she could send my prescription to another CVS that has stock. She told me this was a cashier computer and that I need to go to the drop off computer.
I also asked why they are not returning calls or picking up phones. They aggressively immediately replied we return every phone message we get, I said well I’ve left 5 messages with no return. The immediately replied we are not responsible if you didn’t pick up our call.
The attitude and disrespect of the staff here seems to be an ongoing problem not just for me, but many others. There are a few associates that work the cashier that are very friendly and I believe are trying to help, but look like they chose their words cautiously as if they are in fear of getting in trouble.
At this point, my practices decision is to urge our patients to switch their pharmacy preference away from CVS Olney. We are receiving to many complaints from patients.

It was 9-pm and my wife needed it urgent after her cornea transplant. The eye drop cost $47/- with insurance and over $300/- without insurance. The Store staff printed out the prescription showing it available for left eye and I read it and showed him available, but he argued it is not available and refused to read his own printout. We had to leave the store and called the manager and found available and we bought it for $47/-. The Manager said that salesman was controlled by the Regional Office and he cannot do much about it. That means the whole CVS seemed to be terrible according to that incident. The CEO should know better.

Twice now, we have been told that a certain medication was available and could be picked up later, only for us to discover that this was not so, and it would have to be ordered. The pharmacist, who I have found helpful in the past, put the blame on his employee, who “doesn’t know much”, “Should I beat her up?” And “I can’t be on her all the time”. A classier response would have been to take responsibility himself and immediately apologize.

This place is horrific. They're confused and scattered, highly unorganized , akin to a three ring sht show. The pharmacy does not want to hear customer complaints which tells you they don't care nor want to do better. If you try to tell them the trouble you've had with them they'll yell at you and tell you to go to another pharmacy if you don't like it . They had my prescription for 10 days but kept telling me the order hadn't come in, yet I received messages every day for 10 days that it was ready . Today I stood there and forced them to look for it until they found it. I quit using them 15 years ago because of this exact reason and they're exactly the same today. I use Safeway pharmacy now which is great but I'm forced to get one prescription at CVS that no one else in the area carries. I can't go back, it's mentally excruciating .I'd rather drive to another pharmacy in another state than deal with these idiot spangles.

I don’t know why this pharmacy’s reviews are so low. Sure there is a wait at certain times but we’ve used them for over two years and everyone there has always been kind, informative and helpful. Special shoutout to Angela who is always going the extra mile!

Believe every single poor rating this pharmacy receives. This place is off the rails. I’m a healthcare professional, and a parent. The pharmacy staff gave my husband completely incorrect information regarding the availability of a prescription medication - which they said was over-the-counter. They then refused to speak to our physician by phone, and failed to help in any way possible. Do you health and sanity a favor: avoid this pharmacy like the plague.
