Based on the return instructions from Florsheim Shoes, I went to the UPS store in Olney to drop the shoes in their original box, the clerk told me they do not accept the shoe box, it must be packaged. Then I asked if the store had a box that I could use. The clerk asked me how much I paid for the shoe; I told him the price. He then said it costs $7:00 for a box if you package it, and it costs $22.00 if the store packages it. I decided to go to a different UPS store. The new store charged me $6.75, to do the packaging including the additional box.The overall impression I got dealing the UPS store in Olney was, lack of customer service, asking questions that was not related to the main task (how much I paid for the shoes) and inability to clearly understand and communicate the Florsheim Shoes` return requirements to the customer.

Wanted to charge me $15 for “taping service” to close up a box that had a prepaid return label. I understand there are policies but you have to think they have tape guns within arms reach. The worker’s comment was “well it’s just the two of us working” - there was only one other person in line behind us so I can’t imagine this 90 second process would have caused a major delayWill be avoiding this location for any future shipping needs

So you cannot help but give a 5 stars… Spencer and Zaheer went above and beyond to attend to my needs. Their customers service skills was “a la carte”… I wish this culture transcends to everyone having to deal with clients. I definitely plan to revisit this UPS location again.

Both the UPS website and Google maps say this place is open on Sundays and closed on Mondays. Drive there only to find out it’s closed on Sundays and open in Mondays. What a joke. Seems like the store has decided their own opening times without updating UPS about it

This Olney store is not a good place for Amazon returns - as it ignored Amazon’s specific return instructions and inserted extra requirements. Had to leave without being able to make the returns. Thus the 2 star review.But in general, UPS beats FedEx by a long shot!

This UPS Store takes no responsibility for losing your package. I do not post reviews very often. However, the lack of ownership or even willingness to help is very disappointing. Please use this store as an access point for deliveries with caution.

This is a wonderful store! I have been in many times and the staff is amazing, always courteous and helpful. A special thank you to Spencer! He went above and beyond for a printing job for our school. He worked hard to make sure the posters were perfect. We LOVE them!! He is an exceptional young man. Thank you Spencer!!

I've been at this location for 5 years. I am a CDL License holder so I needed a stationary point and a street address so that I don't have any missed communications and also to protect my identity. Unfortunately there's been a change in management which comes with a steep price increase. Before I would pay for 6 month intervals and I would get a month free now I don't I also didn't have to pay $240 either. Franchise or NOT, it's no longer feasible for me to maintain this service when I can go to another UPS Store pay $240 for a whole year. Your zip code shouldn't determine a difference like that, cause at the end of the day my life is worth more than a profit.There is no excellent customer service because when I called and asked about how much it would cost to renew my box I was told the price and when I questioned the increase the guy was like under new management. The person on the other side of the phone had no interest in keeping my business and I was told because I felt the price was too high that I couldn't maintain my box which was extremely frustrating because I was never informed about the. CHNAGE IN BOX FEE. I'm on a fixed income. I've been dealing with health issues and the added stress of trying to figure out how to pay for a box because I can't transfer anything because I'm in the middle of several legal disputes and don't want to run the risk of not being informed about upcoming mediation and court schedules.Then when I went to the store to renew my box, the gentlemen that was there had no idea on how to do so. Which resulted in a phone call to whomever to figure out how to do so. That's not excellent customer service. Then when I asked if I would get a month free like I used to, I was told that only new customers receive that. Which wasn't what I have been receiving since I first opened the box over 5 years ago.Your an access point for UPS. You remodeled the store to fit all the packages that gets sent out. From what I've seen people bring their own boxes labels and so forth.There were 4-5 people working that day while you had a line of people out the door. That doesn't seem efficient or excellent.
