Do not get your appliances at Home Depot. They send out appliances that have been packed damaged and do not want to exchange them or help you out. I received a dishwasher that had no damage to the outside box or the packaging and the door and inside were bent and they insisted I had to go through GE the manufacturer. GE service inspected it and found it had been damaged inside and the whole unit needs to be replaced. I'll never shop at Home Depot again. You pay good money and they don't want to do the right thing.

This location gives out bad information and refuses to return appliance that were brought from this store ( store number 2554). The store manager Jackie addressed me out of uniform and didn't even try to let me exchange the product because they have a buyers remorse policy which is crazy. I will never shop at this Home Depot again. I was the on 12/22/23 without a receipt and a store worker told me if I bring the receipt back they would honor it and today 12/24/2023 I returned and no one could help me. Stay away from this store ( 2554) go to Virginia it's across the Wilson bridge with better service

This review is a salute to a salesperson at the Oxon Hill location of Home Depot. i came to this location needing an outdoor electrical box, etc. I did not have any luck finding the appropriate materials. Another salesperson went to look for Ms. Linda C. She arrived and immediately took the wrong products away from me and quickly located what I actually needed. I am 86 years-old but she was never condescending toward me. She went further and explained the difference between outdoor lights and indoor sockets. Additionally, she helped me select a motion device for outdoor use that was reasonably priced. All in all, she was wonderful. Sincerely, Sharon M.

The dumb bitch in the garden section gave me nothing but attitude and didn'T want to price check the aloe Vera. She was lazy and ignored me when I asked. Everyone there is so lazy, just shut the store down.

Waste of time going here. Wanted to buy a 4x8 sheet of pvc and asked them to cut it in 3 pieces. They stated that they don’t cut pvc only wood. I explained we buy the same items at Home Depot’s all around the area and they cut it to the sizes we want for a fee. The manager told me the pvc sheet will tear up the saw.The pvc is designed to be cut and fastened just like wood.There’s no consistency across Home Depot stores.The young person who claimed she was the manager was clueless. She didn’t want to listen about the sheet being cut like wood.So tired of hearing “I’m sorry about that from the employeesAvoid this place…

There's two types of service here, bad and... There's one type of service here. Bad. You either get bad service or no service. They've been called 3x to assist over a 30 minute span. I just need these boards cut so I can put up some trim. I'm just gonna go to a real store.

First, let me give a huge big thank you to Alyson for helping us get this mess taken care of. Now let's get to the root of my issues.., Rajiz Dwizedi the sales manager at this location for the windows department is incompetent and doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to contracting people who comes out to put in your windows. If you ever go through a project for window installations, just know when something goes wrong with the installation itself, the sales manager will not care. You paid your hard earned money for an over priced project and they will dismiss your concerns. Consultant McCoy from Home Depot said he scheduled an appointment with the contractors to come back out, only to find that he never confirmed with them. So we're waiting for someone to come back out all morning while he's dogging phone calls. Fantastic customer service!! And yes I'm being sarcastic. "Your local team is here to help" The lie detector determined "That was a lie"!

The Home Depot installers damaged my countertop by trying to force the dishwasher into place. When I saw what they were doing I asked them to allow me to cut the laminate floor to enable a better fit. They told me that they have it installed and they were not going to take it back out. Before they departed, they turned on the dishwasher and told me to allow it to complete the cycle. Then they departed. When the washer completed the cycle, I opened the dish washer and it fell forward because it was not screwed to the counter. In addition, the installers charged me an additional $200 to install a circuit breaker outlet under my cabinet, and I noticed they did not reattach the airgap hose. To correct the unprofessional installation, I pulled the dishwasher out, cut the laminate to give it space then properly mounted it in place.

I went today I was able to find my lawn items on my own and that was a good thing. No one every asked if I need assistance. Then I went to the appliance section I saw several associates standing around, now I’m not sure if they wasn’t on the clock yet. Worst customer ever. I was in the store today at approx. 07:20. I was in search of latex gloves. After walking around for 5 minutes and having no success, I asked an associate if there were any gloves in stock. She told me that there were no gloves in stock but to check the paint section just in place. I checked aisle #4 and 5 and did not see gloves. I went over to aisle #6 and did not see any. I looked up and saw 3 large cases of medium latex gloves on the very top shelf. Because I was unable to reach them, I looked for an associate to pass by. An associate was passing by the area and I asked him if he could help. I noticed that their was a rolling ladder in the aisle, He said that he could not assist because it was not his Dept. He told me to ask the associate in the paint section. I went to the paint section and asked the associate if he could assist. He said that he could not because he is helping someone else. I began to walk away and he said that he would help as soon as he finishes with the customer in front me. I said great, I can wait. I waited about 5 minutes and another associate walked by. I asked the associate if he could help me and his body language and facial expression made me feel like I was bothering him. The paint associate said " I will help you now" in an angry tone. I walked in front of him to show him the location of the gloves. He began to question me by saying " you're in a hurry huh". I said yes, I need to go to work. He said that " people are in hurry and expect us to move fast Huh". I tried to diffuse the situation by telling him that I asked to open my building at a certain time. He said again, "so I am expected to hurry up huh". I told him that if the gloves were in the correct location, I would not have to bother the associates. He retrieved the gloves and finally handed them to me. I told him that I appreciated it to which he said nothing. He just glared at me. I think you would agree that this is unacceptable. Customer Service means serving the customers and this location drops the ball every time. I never feel like a guest in this store.

I purchase a refrigerator from home depot,11/23/2019 the refrigerator had manufacture damage on it. the delivery people that came to my home to pick up the damage refrigerator damage my walls by rushing and just started pushing the refrigerator through the kitchen entrance damaging that entrance and slide the refrigerator to the second entrance and just started pushing damaging the second entrance too. When I was scheduled again for a replacement the one they brought had a big dent on the door. unbelievable I develop stomach pains dealing with the delivery personnel and the employees I spoke with from the delivery company was very rude and did not try to help me could not solve the problem. The delivery people that came to my home the second time who damage my walls was very inconsiderate about my property and took advantage because no one was home with me at the time. I gave a 2 star because the employees at home depot was helpful and tried to talk to the delivery company but the delivery company did nothing for me but shifting me from person to person and denied my claim. I had to contact BBB. Finally the case was solved on 2/24/2020 my account was credited for the damages. The delivery company is the reason why I rated them a 2 other wise I would have given a 4. I feel the delivery company is given Home Depot a bad name.
