I recently went to the Harborside Hotel in Oxon Hill, Maryland, to attend a class that utilized the hotel's conference room. The conference room was located in the basement, and while it wasn’t the most glamorous setting, it was functional and well-equipped for our needs. The space was comfortable for a day-long seminar, and the environment was quiet and conducive to learning.
The bathrooms throughout the hotel were impressively clean, which I always appreciate. It's clear that the hotel prioritizes cleanliness. I can’t speak too much on the rooms as I did not stay in any room. Additionally, there were vending machines conveniently located near the conference area, which was great for quick snacks or drinks throughout the day.
Parking was a breeze with plenty of space available in the back lot, making it easy to get in and out of the hotel without hassle. The hotel overall has a no-frills straightforward approach, but it provides all the necessary amenities for a good seminar for business trips or events. While not an extravagant venue, the Harborside Hotel is reliable for those seeking convenience and practicality for meetings or classes. I would recommend it for anyone attending events in the area.
Nearby activities: Top golf
Walkability: Very walkable
Food and drinks: Plenty restaurant chains nearby

I wish I could give an overall 3.5 but given a choice between 3 and 4 stars, I had to downgrade due to issues of noise and privacy.
We had an adjoining door in our room, which would have been fine under normal circumstances. No other hotel I’ve stayed have I had a problem with an adjoining door. This one was locked properly, but I fear it was too thin. When our neighbors arrived around the time we were ready for bed, we could hear them from the minute they walked in. And I mean every word clearly. They did not follow the sign near the elevators about quiet time hours. They spoke loudly and laughed loudly off and on into the early AM hours. And all the noise we heard was coming right from that door. My husband called the front desk twice to ask them to intervene, and they did. The second time, our neighbors finally quieted down. However, after I had shut off our room lights, I could see their room lights under the adjoining door. That door never seemed so thin to me until that happened. At that moment, I wasn’t sure if there were two doors between our rooms or one. I never opened our side to check because my biggest fear was I could just walk into their room, and I didn’t want to know. That was how close they felt. I could see shadows of their footsteps as they walked past the adjoining door. It was like being in a spooky movie. I felt like anything I said could be heard by them, so the next morning I spoke in whispers.
However, the hotel is gorgeous, especially in the lobby. Elevators were fast and easy to use. The staff was very kind and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The shuttle service was amazing in getting us around National Harbor and back. I didn’t get to try out the restaurant or order food from there, since we were mostly there to sleep overnight. Our stay was very pleasant once we could get to sleep. I just feel like if the adjoining door situation was amended, the room would have better noise reduction and privacy.

Nice hotel and cheaper alternative to the MGM nearby, which this hotel provides a shuttle to. Every staff i came across was friendly and pleasant, including 2 FD agents and night crew. Rooms arent much but my room was clean and spacious. Only downside is the location in a sketchy area with alot of police activity on a monday night so i can imagine a weekend. Overall 4/5

Hard to believe this is considered a 2-star hotel. Have stayed several times now and it’s always been clean and quiet, with great service. Everything is new, and it’s a great value for being so close to DC and National

Rooms: We got the newly renovated room and it's great nothing to complain about.
Nearby activities: We stayed here to go to MGM for a show and the casino.
Safety: We had no issues with safety. You have to have a hotel key to use the elevator which I thought it was a nice touch.
Walkability: Idk we used Lyft to go to the Casino but I'm sure you'll be able to walk to it too I saw a lot of side walks.
Food and drinks: I had one drink at the bar and found nothing go complain about.
Noteworthy details: They provide a shuttle to near by activities for free. For whatever reason the shuttle wasn't working when we were here but the hotel provided FREE Lyft service which I thought it was great.
