This Target was a little tight getting around and no good visibility through the store, long lines at checkouts, and I would say a bit messier than average. But it's like most Targets with decent parking, decent prices, and plenty of other stores around to compare.

I came here to grab some snacks and drinks for my room. First thing that you notice when you come in here, or at least I did, was that they were in the middle of doing some reconstruction inside. I don't remember why or what it was for, but it really hampered the shopping experience. I directly ran to food section and started to look over what they had to offer. I browse for the snacks. Mostly crackers and cookies. I attempted to get some drinks, but there wasn't much to pick over. Since I was lucky enough to have a fridge in my room, I was able to grab some things that were needing some cooling. Which can be a nice thing. However, the selection was sparse when it came to what was on the shelves. So I stuck to a few things I knew and had to grab a few I had never tried. Honestly, try their birthday cake sandwich cookies, they are amazing. What really lacked here was the registers. There was a line. They were using both the self checkout registers and regular registers. Even at that, the line was pushing back to past their construction area. Then you have to factor in those people that don't understand how lines work and just want to get out of the store quickly. Once I returned to the hotel, I was told that I went to the ghetto Target. I didn't know there was such a thing. I was told that I should have went across the river to that one.

This is a brand new store and already horrible. The shelves are rarely stocked, only one open register and now many body care products are locked up. Very barbaric

Went from a really nice greeted at the door to an EXTREMELY RUDE employee near the CVS section. Baby it's your JOB to help a customer who's waiting for an employee to come and open the cabinets that TARGET DECIDED TO PUT IN TO LOCK UP women's hygienic items. I had already heard her smack her lips and say "ugh" as she started to walk past the isle, but I saw her and she saw me look at her so turned and came to the isle. Then she says "how are you" with an attitude. So at that point I'm irritated at you having an attitude about doing YOUR JOB. I just pointed to what I wanted her to grab and said "I just want this one." I guess she decided to be smart and ask for specifics when I was CLEARLY POINTING TO THE ONE I WANTED. I don't want to speak to you at this point cause you were rude from the minute I was standing there waiting after having waved my hand across the thing to prompt an employee to come. She got what I wanted and I grabbed it right from her hands with the same energy she was giving. Don't be surprised when people meet you with what you're giving. This Target is nice but this employee was so unnecessarily rude that I'll stick to my main one.

I cannot stand this Target. Their inventory is never correct. I've order something for pickup multiple times and it's either been ready for pick then cancelled because somehow they don't have the time or it gets cancelled when I'm there to pick it up. Terrible business practice. The service is good inside and the security guard always welcomes you and says have a good day lol, but the drive up service and back of house practices are PISS POOR. If you have items in the back that show up on your app or the side PUT THEM ON THE FLOOR or have someone go to the back and get them. I don't understand what's so hard about that. -A pissed consumer who's order has been cancelled by Target MULTIPLE times

I'm writing to give kudos to Isaiah and Jordan (I hope that is his name.) They had the adapter I needed for my Mac but it was weirdly laid out. And when I entered four employees were standing at the door, at security. One woman glared at me when I doubled back to ask for help. I guess she didn't like that I interrupted her conversation. The security guy was very nice and directed me back. Isaiah was neatly restocking shelves in electronics. I asked for his help. He stopped what he was doing to find it. He was going to ring me up when his coworker (Jordan?) who was ringing up others volunteered to ring up the adapter because Isaiah was being called to the front. Both were very professional and helpful with good attitudes. I then realized I needed weatherproofing stuff. The store had NONE. I asked an employee nearby for help. He pointed me to the wrong aisle but at least he didn't give me attitude for asking for his help. I won't be back in this store unless I'm driving by it and decide in that moment that I need it. I'll keep going to the Forestville location.

I made a pickup order for Animal Crossing cards. I made one order for 1 pack and another for 4 packs. They gave me a notification for pickup for both items. Target supposedly has a 3 day hold for pickup items so I thought that I would pick them up the next day since I work around there. I wake up the next day and they canceled both orders without any email notification. I contact the Target help chat and they tell me it was canceled because of quantity limits on ordering the cards. It doesn't make any sense though because I made that order for a single pack first. I should have gotten at least that one pack. To me it sounds like someone working there just wanted their hands on a rare item (they are selling for 4x online). They also told me the maximum is 3 even though the max you can add to your cart online is 4. I've tried to make an order for pickup at a different Target and they didn't send me a pickup notice and had just canceled my order. I can understand that though because sometimes quantity doesn't process right online. But for this order it just seems that someone working there saw a rare item in the pickup area and just canceled it and bought it for themselves.

It works. I worked at the KMart when I was a teen. I knew this Tatget wouldn't be huge but it serves ita purpose although it's a hit or miss sometimes with merch. They do have groceries and all that. I even got a big kettle bell from there. I get meat there too and it's GOOD! I wish it were bigger but they worked with what they had. The employees are nice too.

I wanted a few items for a trip. There were two employees complaining about their bosses and shifts. I was standing beside them. I don't know why they would wait until I was out of the aisle. Bonus points for the clearance rack.

Listen... nothing spectacular about this location. But functional for everyday needs. (I found Lysol and bleach! #Score) lines are always super long but typically moves fast. I still don't understand why you can't buy beer and wine in MD but I will save that for another time.

Was in here for less than 10 minutes to pick up an order and saw 3 employees not wearing a mask over their nose. It's pointless to wear unless you cover both your nose and mouth. Not sure if laziness or ignorance but management needs to enforce this.

It is great to finally have a Target in the National Harbor area. While it is a smaller store, it has a decent variety of offering. The store is clean and convenient. However, if management does not address the extremely poor customer service this store will go down rapidly. I have visited the store several times and have experienced unacceptable customer service almost ever time. For example, on one occasion, I checked stock of an item on-line and it identified the Oxon Hill store as having several of the item in stock. When I went to purchase, I didn't see the item and decided to ask for assistance. That's where things when wrong. I was bounded around to three different employees finally found one person playing on her cell phone and VERY rude. I asked her to check stock and before doing so she proceeded to say they didn't have the item. I ran out of patience with the ignorance and left the store. On another occasion, I went to purchase outdoor patio items that were CLEARLY marked in the store as on sale but did not ring-up as such at the register. I brought this to the manager's attention and at first she proceeded to challenge me but after I was persistent she finally decided to sashay to the home goods area taking her merry sweet slow time only to find that I was correct. This occurred during the early days of the COVID pandemic when lines were already long and other customers were waiting. Why this didn't factor in I have no idea. Anyway, when she returned, instead of gracefully acknowledging the mistake she silently walked up to the register and reluctantly made the price adjustment, didn't say a word and walked off. These are the sorts of incidents that will sent residents back across the bridge to VA to shop. The gas money spent would be well worth avoiding the poor customer service and attitudes displayed at this store.

It's a decent store, doesn't have the same selection that most Targets do. The staff was new and with most large stores there was a mix of helpful and unhelpful employees. I'd say you have a 50/50 shot of finding what you want and a 50/50 shot of interacting with a friendly employee.

This Target is near National Harbor. It's not as big as most suburban Targets, but it does have all you need from gadgets to groceries. There's even a snack/coffee area with seating. Overall, the staff are nice and they keep it clean. However, the layout is odd and the one time I went, it smelled a little funky inside.

It's convenient and a step up from the Kmart that used to occupy that space. It is formatted differently from other Targets, but it's a reused building. My only complaint is the lack of Starbucks.
