Great food. Usually, I come here for the seafood, especially the shrimp salad. The best food in town, is worth trying if you're nearby.

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Breakfast all day, and a breakfast bar in the morning for quick in and out service. Lunch and dinner available as well. Fresh seafood available as well.

I have always had a great experience at the Soda Pop Shop. Everyone working here is very welcoming and incredibly nice. The food all around no matter the time of day is delicious. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat or make a quick stop.

Highly recommend my favorite local corner store! Delicious cream of crab, they'll make accommodations for picky eaters (like the one who wants a sub roll instead of rye bread) and the whole family/staff is soo nice!

I've been using this place for years, and last week received rotten crab meat that made my family sick. Instead of apologizing or offering any sympathy, the staff was rude and accusing, and made me come back multiple times to speak to a manager that wasn't able to come in- finally I was told there was nothing they can do, just go away. I've cancelled my upcoming holiday seafood orders, and advise anyone to do the same- they don't care about making their customers sick!

Soooooda Pop Shop!!!! I cannot believe how long I've deprived visiting this place! I've lived in this area for over 15 years and never stepped foot in SPS. Writing a review for a place almost immediately after visiting, usually means it's going to be a good review! What FINALLY caught my eye was the LED lit sign off the corner that highlighted the daily specials. 'Rueben with free fries" is what it said. Funny how I had a craving for that particular sandwich for the last couple of days! It was meant to be. Lol!The shop is pretty much a convenience store with a restaurant & mini seafood market included! It was fairly quiet, but also buzzing with regulars. They have your normal corner store accouterments- lottery tickets, cigarettes, snacks, sandwiches and a pretty impressive array of various soda pop flavors! I bought two cokes ($4 for two 20 oz. was a decent deal!). I decided upon a mango juice. The can just stood out to me and I had to get it! More on that in a bit. The cashier/owner was super warm and nice. I wasn't sure if it was her son on the grill, but he was also nice. As they started on my sandwich, I grabbed my drinks. Even with three people in front of me, the line admittedly moved a bit slow. It wasn't enough to deter me, though! My sandwich arrived to the front counter at the same time as it was my turn to pay. I live nearby, so I wasn't worried about my food being cold. I have to admit that this was one of the best Ruben sandwiches I've had in a long time. The rye was perfectly buttered and the meat was just enough. The sauerkraut was the perfect touch! The fries were nice and crispy. Everything was very delicious...so delicious that I went back two days later!UPDATE: I didn't finish the review from my first visit, and I'm glad I didn't. Unfortunately, after my second trip, I probably won't be returning anytime soon. This trip brought my rating from a 5 down to a two. When I arrived, it was way busier than before. The owner and the same young man were both on the grill. No one was on the register, so the lady/owner had to continuously switch back and forth from the grill to the register. There were people waiting to be rung up and people waiting for food. It was a bit overwhelming, to say the least. I gave the woman my order (Ruben sandwich w/ fries & a shrimp salad sandwich) and she told me it would be a while because of all of the orders that were before mine. That was fine with me because it gave me an opportunity to look around the store. I probably was waiting for about 25-30 minutes. If I was a person that was in a time crunch, this would've been really frustrating. As I walked around, I noticed that there were no prices on ANYTHING...except the menu board and one 2 for $4 price tag in one of the refrigerators. Everything else- juices, coffee drinks, snacks, canned goods- NOTHING had a price. Which led me to believe that the owners could make up any price they wanted...and unfortunately, that's what they did. I bought a can of Starbucks nitro energy drink. It didn't have a price, but I assumed it was about 3 or four bucks. When I saw the woman ring it up, it was $5.99!!!!! I couldn't believe it! I asked her to take it off my bill, but I changed my mind and bought it (crazy, right), because I needed a drink to keep me up on my hour drive to work and didn't plan on going to another store. It seemed like she felt bad for the exorbitantly expensive drink, but I said "What the hey", because I knew I wouldn't be coming back. Side note: When I got home I looked up the price for one can of that drink on Amazon and it was less than two dollars. I honestly should've asked for my receipt, but I didn't. A Rueben sandwich with fries, a shrimp salad sandwich (no fries), three drinks and a pack of cookies came to OVER FORTY BUCKS! I was kinda blown away, but I also had a bit of empathy for the owner. Apparently, they cannot afford more help and the prices are astronomically high. I'm really g
