So I just left Home Depot and we had, hands down, the best customer experience I have ever had! I had to stop and take the time out to recognize Dre (spelling?). We were walking around trying to find weather proofing for my son. He was so upbeat, positive, and greeted us with a smile and asked how he can help us! He was super knowledgeable and helpful knew exactly what would help us with our weatherproofing issue. He did it with a smile and you could tell he enjoyed his job of being helpful and cared. This is SO RARE today and he should be recognized for his outstanding, seamless, and amazing customer service. He provided one stop customer service at a very busy time of the year and on a very busy Saturday. He took the time and didn't rush. Again, all the while with his positive upbeat, energy, and smile and willingness to actually really help!!! After we had all of the things we needed to solve our issue, he said is there anything else I can help you with, now who does that nowadays! It was so refreshing!!! He should be modeled throughout the store. I have management experience and I would promote him and do what it takes to retain him as a star employee! Also, while he was helping us other customers stopped and thanked him again for another time that he helped them!! Obviously another amazing customer experience by Dre. THANK YOU Dre, keep being amazing and thanks so much for your help!

My fridge died, and it would have cost about as much as a new fridge to fix. Okay, let's buy a new one.Found one I liked at Home Depot and bought it. Cool! Delivery within 3 days.Delivery drivers arrive and tell me that the staircase to my kitchen is too narrow, and I needed to remove the handrails. Valid point.... But as I'm on my way to drill the screws out, they abruptly leave. That's super annoying, but whatever. Okay. I take off the handrails and lay them on the ground in the stairwell, assuming they'll be carrying the fridge at waist height, not dragging it on the floor. They arrive again a few days later and inform me that the fridge was dented and they sugggested that I ask for a new one. I said no, I needed the fridge. The delivery guy literally rolled his eyes at me before telling me that... the aforementioned handrails need to be moved. Okay, whatever. I move the handrails. They take a look at my wall and tell me that the water shutoff valve to my fridge doesn't work. They leave after telling me that this was the only reason they didn't deliver. I inspected the valve and found that it was just tight. They literally could have twisted it a TINT bit and it would have worked. The final time they arrive and told me that the staircase was too narrow to bring the fridge up. I point out that the fridge that I paid to have removed is actually bigger, and that the previous delivery people had no problem. I'm told okay, we are going to talk to our boss. I kid you not, they simply and abruptly left.I attempted to file a complaint. I reiterate that my refrigerator that I had paid to have them remove was bigger than the one they were bringing in. The delivery people simply didn't want to work, and they didn't have the courtesy and professionalism to even explain that to me. My complaint ended up going absolutely nowhere. Let me sun this up.The delivery people abruptly left my house without even attempting delivery on two occasions and tried to get me to decline delivery on the third. They were lazy, unprofessional, and not helpful. Normally this wouldn't have been Home Depot's problem, but the store did nothing to correct the series of issues I had. I'm not going to be shopping at this location again.

Trying to buy a Christmas tree and 4 garden department employees are not approaching me to help me. I'm trying to get their attention while sitting on the tree cutting station and they are ignoring me.

Lack of customer service, failure to inform customers of “policies” PRIOR to delivery. Apparently I had to watch a video that included the info needed however their checklist did NOT include it. I use to be a large customer of HD through a few companies. That just ended. Not waiting my time anymore.

Had a great experience ordering my new dishwasher. Sales people in the store were very helpful. Delivery and installation was a whole different story! Had to purchase a junction box to have my dishwasher hard wired. When they came out to install, workers were baffled as to why the unit wouldn’t turn on. They said it was defective. So, I called and got a new unit delivered. Same thing happened on the next install with a brand new unit! A family member ended up coming over and determined the installers didn’t put the wires in the junction box correctly to ground the unit. And they did it incorrectly twice!! We got the unit to work after fixing your installation errors. Seriously, Home Depot, maybe you shouldn’t offer this service to hardwire a dishwasher if your delivery and installation people don’t know what they are doing!!!!

Rent a weed Wacker (trimmer) didn't have enough spool (string) in it. Used it for less than 4 hours. Service guy can't do nothing about it. I'm very disappointed.

This is the worse Home Depot store. I had an online order with curbside pick up. I waited outside 15 minutes with the app reading wait, some one will bring your items out message. I walk inside to see 8 employees behind the counter with my merchandise in a cart. After I told them I was waiting outside for my curbside order. one employee pushed the cart to me and told me to have a good day. They were too lazy to do their job! I will never shop at this store again. It's a shame at how lazy and rude these store employees are now.

I really wish I should’ve read some of the reviews before I decided to buy a grill at this location. I purchased a grill on July 1 and had to do some travel so I asked if it could be assembled and delivered. One month later and I am still waiting to get a phone call from the store telling me that my order has even come close to being processed. I called yesterday and was told that my order hadn’t even been picked from the back despite being purchased on July 1. This place is a joke and instead of fixing their mistakes they do absolutely nothing about it. Even after numerous calls and complaints to the corporate headquarters I’m still in the same place that I am. If there was an easier place to find a grill that I wanted that I would go there and simply return it. But whatever you do think twice about going to this location and making your purchases it’s obviously run by idiots.

My husband and I bought a refrigerator at the Home Depot in Belair Labor Day weekend. The associate that helped us with Kenneth and older gentleman with more knowledge than either my husband or I had he was so very helpful telling us what to look for what not what brand not to buy and believe it or not on Labor Day weekend there was a refrigerator there in stock, and we bought it so we were only without a refrigerator for two days and my husband picked it up and brought it home it's a GE and I absolutely love it. Again thank you Kenneth for all of your help and knowledge. Patricia Gordon

I went to buy some tools that I really needed, and when I was about to pay, the lady at the register tells me that Home Depot doesn't have Apple Pay, REALLY, a huge company with a lot of stores around the country doesn't offer Apple Pay to its customers, I didn't have my card with me so I was planning to pay with my phone, come one Home Depot it's 2021 almost everything is handle by phone.

Horrible experience at Home Depot today. 1 register open and self check out open. Got up to the register and 1 of my items did not have a tag. The cashier told me I had to get another one with a tag but I would have to get out of line go and get it and go to the back of the line. She was extremely rude and very abrasive in the way she spoke to me.

Months have gone by since We placed an order for a fence to be put up in our yard. The contract said 5- 1/2 weeks. We were getting a puppy and wanted to make sure she couldn't get out of the yard. The puppy has been here for a month no sign of fence people . Not a word.

Returned an item on 7/14/20 and received receipt for full refund but 2 days later it still has not posted to my card. Called customer service and they said the complaint is with the credit card and not them. However, I returned an item on 7/15/20 to a different retailer and my refund is already posted. Card company confirms that Home Depot is holding up my refund. Then Home Depot stated that it could take 5-7 days before they process a customer's refund. Won't be shopping Home Depot any more

They could practice social distancing and associates should all wear masks. It is risky to visit this store. There is really no curbside pickup, as the phones are not accessible to ask for it.
