I went here last year and had a horrible experience. Sandy is extremely abrasive and unprofessional. She treated me, a women, completely different than she treated my boyfriend. She made dozens of comments to me about what I was wearing (yelling at me saying I was going to be too cold even though I was wearing more layers than my boyfriend), made negative comments about my body, yelled at me at no matter what I did (this was even before I got on the horse). We signed up for a trail ride and basically got berated for two hours by Sandy. Awful place, do not recommend, and have no idea how she is allowed to work with children.

We love Sandy and our horse friends!! Sandy spoke loud and clear so we could hear her the entire time. She made sure we stayed safe! She was so hands on with my daughter and went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our time. We got a real experience not just a trail ride. We learned to stand on the horses without using our hands, we learned to throttle and how to maintain the horses in only 2 hrs. It was well worth every penny! I can’t tell you how wonderful of an experience this is. Btw my daughter is only ten years old!! Please go see Sandy and you might meet me and my daughter one day because we are going back! #ridergirls #countrygirltough

We had the best experience!! Sandy was amazing to just be in her presence! She was patient caring and firm! I have never been on a horse before and she made me feel so good!! I highly recommend this place!! You will get an awesome experience not just ride but learn and care for the horses!! The conversation and the laughter where and added bonus!!

Great place to get away from the ocean for some horse hiding trip in the trails. Sandy and Marybeth were very informative and helpful. We had an amazing time here.

As someone who is incredibly new to horseback riding, I felt incredibly well taken care of by the ladies at Hoof Prints. They were all so nice and helpful, and I loved that we got a lesson at the start to learn how to groom and tack up a horse- and also to get in some bonding time with your horse before you start the ride! The trails were beautiful, and I can't wait to return the next time I'm in the area.

Sandy is nothing short of a miracle worker! We took our brand new seven year old who was dying to get on a horse to Hoof Prints las week. Sandy took her from having never been on a horse to STANDING on one for Pete’s sake….and then trotting along by herself on the trail. In less than an hour. The pride and the smiles were beyond amazing. We watched in awe when Sandy started with a horse yoga intro….tailoring it perfectly to each of the kids there -- all with very different levels of experience. Sandy's gentleness with kids, horses, parents (and grandparents and baby brother)…her sensitivity to each kids needs….and her knowledge about when to push and how to assure them they are safe….all are gifts. Sandy is a gift. We will never forget the experience. Life course setting for a very happy little girl!

My daughter, 12 year old granddaughter and I visited Hoof Prints on April 4th, 2019 and had a wonderful time. Sandy was so patient with all of us and gave us an experience with horses like no other place I have ever been. We had the opportunity to get know the horses by grooming them before the ride and then learning how to work with the horses before going out on the trail. Needless to say. My granddaughter has fallen in like be with Taffy the horse. Thanks for an outstanding experience, Sandy.

My 6 grandchildren ages 6-13 thoroughly enjoyed the horse riding experience with Sandy and her helpers. Sandy gave each their own horse to groom, dress, ride, brush and feed after the ride. Sandy exceeded our expectations. All the kids had a wonderful, learning experience. Each commented afterwards, "I did not want to get off my horse." I am looking forward to returning with my grandchildren very soon.

We had an amazing trail ride at Hoof Prints. While on a vacation to Ocean City we wanted to surprise my son who loves horses with a horseback ride for his Birthday. Sandy made it really fun, educational, and Unforgettable. It was the ideal trail ride for my two younger children and also for my husband and myself. Best part of our vacation! Highly recommended

My 11 year old daughter and I had a wonderful time on our trail ride with Sandy and Fran! We absolutely appreciated and loved taking the time to get familar with the horses, saddling them up and washing them afterwards. The trail was a nice combination of shaded woods that opened up into a beautiful field of fresh air and grass for the horses to nibble on. Sandy knows her horses well and makes sure everyone is doing what they need to be doing- to stay safe. Just listen to what she tells you to do and everything will be fine. Being a horse lover, I didn't want to wash the smell off of me for hours (until my husband gently suggested a shower!) Haha! Thanks again for a memorable experience.

I contacted Sandy with Hoof prints trail riding center months in advance to book & reserve a group trail ride for a group of 8 riders . After several emails and calls we finally connected . All was a go for the 26 of June . On Friday evening the 24th I got a voicemail from sandy canceling our ride due to a " sickness " in the family . I returned her call to see if we could book another day , to no avail . She would not answer calls or return them . We were left in limbo as we had a large group of women expecting a 2 hr trail ride while we were on vacation for a bachelorette party . I contacted another local equestrian center that also offers trail riding , and to my surprise , I was told by the other venue that Hoof prints trail riding center is KNOWN to cancel rides last minute . I would NOT recommend this farm , or anything they have to offer . It was completely unacceptable and unprofessional how our trip and experience was ruined because of pure laziness . If I could give a negative rating I would . I have been scrambling to find another venue , and just by chance I was able to find one a little farther but willing to accommodate us on a whim . Thank you Annie Trice with Windy Way Horses , LLC for showing us what true horsemanship is all about !
