“Our Council of Unit Owners hired Wayne Frazier of Insurance Claims Specialist in April of 2023 after an insurance loss in June of 2022 that caused significant water damage to three first floor condominiums and common area. We entered into the Appraisal process with our insurer in April of 2023. When Wayne was hired as our independent appraiser, most of the rebuild had already been completed. The required mitigation and reconstruction back to original specification condition was very complicated due to the structure originally serving as an office building before it was repurposed to luxury condominiums in 2020. Restoration work was well under way when Wayne was hired. Hiring an appraiser at this stage of the process is difficult for any appraiser.
But Wayne spent countless hours onsite understanding the scope of the damage, mitigation and rebuild parameters. In addition, his knowledge of the appraisal process and required documentation was impressive. While maintaining complete independence, he guided us throughout the entire process.
His effort resulted in an award that provided the association the needed money to restore and repair our homes to exactly the way they existed prior to the damage. Without Wayne’s expertise and knowledge, we would have received less than 1/2 of the money from our insurer necessary to make the repairs.
We are forever grateful for his hard work and no nonsense approach. Thank you Wayne for bringing 3 years of an insurance nightmare to a positive conclusion which has allowed our community to finally focus on living our lives.”
