Very pleased, great and friendly customer service shop, seems to be family run and perfectly sits next to a double tree hotel (I badly had to pee from my hour drive out from Gaithersburg in rush hour traffic.)I called the shop earlier in the day and spoke to Phil, he gave me a great initial impression, very friendly and told me they're on the 2nd floor of the quadrant and can be a bit difficult to find. He also advised a flood had occurred, they're still open and operational, but if the hallways look weird, don't be alarmed. LolI highly recommend doing a quick Google search on the map to see the general idea of where to go. Once parked at the double tree, simply walk to the left of the building, you'll see a sign for events meeting place and a sign for a radio station, go past the station for the 2nd door and you'll find a set of stairs. Once you go up the stairs, walk down the hall and it should be the first door on the right. Suite #215 The reason for my visit was to get a second opinion on my uncle's stamps. I received them about 20 years ago and they'd been sitting in bags in storage ever since. Trying to navigate eBay with coins or stamps is a whole nother ballpark and figured I should go to the best!As expected, the collection isn't really worth more than $25 for about the 2700 ish cancelled stamps. But it was nice to have Phil recognize that I was the one that called, treat the album well, and give me an honest answer. While I was at the shop, I believe his son, Victor walked in and apologized in regards to the album being of low value. We also had a great conversation on other collectibles, such as Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, Sports cards, video games and the like. I've been searching for ages for a shop or at least someone willing to allow me to bring in the 3-4 monster boxes of sports cards I have. I got a firm "bring them in, we'll take a look". Today's venture wasn't just about getting an appraisal for my stamps, it was more about, where can I go for future guidance with collectibles. Compared to my recent visit with Maryland Stamps and Coins (Bethesda), Geezer's Tweezers is absolutely what I was looking for. I 1000% recommend this business and will be looking forward to my next visit! Thank you so much Phil and Victor for the pleasant experience!

Call first to find their specific location; once they describe it, it's not hard to find them on the 2nd floor (courtyard entrance, double doors, by pond). They're affable, they love stamp collecting, and I appreciated their understandable responses to my novice questions. It's about the only stamp collecting shop in the area, but they're not self-important about it.I had a good experience with a modest transaction, and recommend you check them out.

I've purchased twice from Geezer's Tweezers on eBay and there is no communications plus it takes forever to receive your purchase. I purchased this last time on Sep.8, 2020 and it's now the 19th and still waiting. My daughter lives in south Jersey and I'm in California and I get a letter from her in 3-4 days for 55 cents 1st class postage. This place ships "economy" class, whatever that is, unless you pay $4 for priority, for a single damn stamp. Will probably have to get eBay to refund if the pony express doesn't get here soon.

Went in to have a stamp collection appraised.. First impression was terrible the office was so cluttered it looked like an episode of Horders Burried Alive. There was no where to sit..There was a foul smell of body odor which was unbearable. The owner quickly shuffled through the collection ripping a page of my book to tell me he wasn't interested in anything I had. He was very unprofessional and could not answer any questions that I had. I would sooo not recommend this place for business..

Phil was honest, friendly and just a pleasure to do business with. Got a fair price for my father's stamp and coin collection. I had it appraised by a few dealers and Phil was the highest offer by a long shot.
