Jenn and Dr. Gore were so friendly and helpful during my cat's visit. They immediately put me at ease and we had many good laughs with my cat's antics! Dr. Gore provided numerous opportunities for me to ask questions during and after her thorough exam. I highly recommend this practice!”
“As a teen, brought my family's pets to visits, and now bringing my own pets to visits as an adult. Have always encountered excellent care, and the staff/doctors are all friendly, helpful and honest with you. I actually have closer vet clinics to my current residence, but I have had such a positive experience at this clinic, I can't imagine going somewhere else. Also, when my family cat died, I was really heartbroken. I remember getting a sweet card from Dr. Murray and it meant a lot. To me, this speaks to how much they care.”

“Everhart is a great and reliable vet. Everhart was the primary vet for our two Akitas for a few years (only switched vets because we moved to the county). Always had a good experience and were always able to get a vet to talk to us or see our pups when we had a question or concern. The only time we had an issue was when another vet gave us a conflicting diagnosis on one of our Akitas. Dr. Menafee handled the situation super professionally, redid x-rays free of charge, and spent a lot of time going over the details of the diagnosis. In the end, we felt completely reassured with Dr. Menafee’s views. I also appreciated that Everhart vets represent a broad range of specialization and expertise, so that no matter what problem you have, there is likely someone on staff who will be able to provide educated input. Wholeheartedly recommend this vet!”
“Hands down the best vet experience I've had for my cat. Not only is staff friendly and knowledgeable, but they clearly care for the animals and even have a couple clinic cats that lounge around and help to welcome visitors.
It just makes sense that a Cat-only clinic would be the best around when it comes to cats!
It is a bit of a drive from me -- but absolutely worth it. My cat recently needed some extractions and cleaning and I got 3 opinions from 3 vets.
The first vet wanted to charge 3x as much as what Catonsville Cat Clinic did. The second vet wanted to charge 5x as much AND take out all of my cat's teeth which was just unnecessary. Finally, I went to Catonsville Cat Clinic and they offered a conservative approach, only taking out the teeth that needed to come out according to X-Ray. At the same time, their cost was affordable and reasonable.
Highly recommend for any cat owners out there, you will not be disappointed.”
“I just lost my precious dachshund, Rusty. I have to talk of my experience at TLC. Dr. Lucas and I worked together when Rusty was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and later, kidney disease. We walked a tightrope, as Dr. Lucas described it, making medical decisions for both conditions. The heart condition alone usually has a year or less life expectancy. Rusty went on to 1 year and 8 months for me and my baby. In addition, the ladies loved on him sometimes calling him the Rust Man :) I even ended up going to a Vet ER before TLC opened, due to a breathing issue which can occur with the heart condition, and one of these wonderful ladies came and sat with me for several hours when she found out and got off work. I can't begin to describe the wonderful love shown to my boy at TLC. When he passed, there were tears from all, and Dr. Lucas called from his vacation to express his condolences. You will never go wrong bringing your sweet baby to TLC for Pets.”

She had a problem that was last minute and my regular vet could not fit her in for several days despite the fact that I was a long time customer of theirs. Howard County Animal Hospital fit us in easily and then ended up having to do emergency surgery the next day. They were very kind to my pet and took the time to explain everything carefully and completely. They also showed great compassion to her throughout. “It’s always nerve wracking choosing the right vet, so I feel very lucky that I found Doc Side when I moved to the city. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them and am continually grateful for the care and support they show my precious pets. I’ve been to Doc Side for all sorts of things now— check ups, illnesses, an emergency visit, even anal gland expression on a cat (yikes!). They have always handled our appointments with grace, patience, creativity, and compassion.
I will admit they are a tad pricier than some other options, but not by much, and you get what you pay for. There have been a few times where I’ve called for guidance which they provided on the phone without urging me to come in for appointment. They have also matched a competitor’s medication price for me.
We’ve seen Dr. Tierney, Dr. Coughlin, and Dr. Peterson and have always been impressed by their quality of care. Additionally, the vet techs and support staff have consistently been phenomenal. I get anxiety over my cat’s health, and the staff do just as much for me as they do for them! You are in excellent hands with DocSide.”
