I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my scheduled passport appointment at 8205 Marshall Corner Rd post office on January 30, 2025, at 3:30 PM. The treatment I experienced was unprofessional, disrespectful, and highly frustrating.
Upon arriving at my appointment, one of the agents briefly inquired about the reason for my visit but then completely ignored me afterward. Shockingly, the agent proceeded to attend to a couple who arrived after me, completely bypassing me. Despite waiting patiently, I was never helped or acknowledged, and I ultimately left the facility without any assistance.
This behavior is unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I expected to be treated with respect and professionalism, especially as I had a confirmed appointment. The disregard for my time and the lack of attention given to me is not what I expect from such an institution. I hope no other individuals have to experience this nasty treatment in the future.

Went to the Pomfret Post Office after work today to mail a package to a friend. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quick service, in and out in 3 minutes, no line. Excellent!

New to the area and I’ve had such a horrible experience at a post office. The clerk is kind and respectful, the manager is completely out of control and disrespectful. Everytime I walk into this location I feel completely threatened and attacked. I am very fearful of going alone. I was told I’m not allowed to come after 4:30 when it closes at 5. Every time I go it’s some kind of new rule that I’m being told about that I’ve never heard and i have been running a business and using usps for 5 years now. I have no issues following rules but the delivery of the way these things have been articulated to me is completely unprofessional.

First visit, no one at the counter, no problem. I hit the bell for service and in comes a tall woman who is on the phone with a customer. She never acknowledges me but hand gestures me to give her my package. I hand her my package, she grabs the scanner, scans by package, slams the scanner back into the cradle, hands me a receipt and leave. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced!

We made an appointment to get our passport done to this location and when we arrived the person said they have to re scheduled and that someone tried to call us. No one called us and the supervisor didn’t even come out to apologize for the inconvenience. I had my whole family with me and this was the only time we could get everyone together. Not very happy with this location. They couldn’t even recommend us another location.

Wow, out of all Post Offices I have ever been to here in Southern Maryland, this is the BEST. Friendly staff, quick service, very clean, and no long line.
Worth the longer drive. Recommended over La Plata and Waldorf (Post Office Rd) locations.
