The proceeds from these sales fund college scholarships and support WUMCO (Western Upper Montgomery County Help), the Frederick Rescue Mission, and the 11 area churches that provide the all-volunteer staff. Customers describe the store as genuinely the best thrift store, with a friendly staff and a big selection of good quality items, even though the store is small. Many customers visit the shop regularly and never leave empty-handed.
