Great staff, course conditions are pristine this year and the prices are reasonable.

I just completed the Level 2 (102) adult golf academy course at Falls Road. I completed the 101 and 102 courses here with Certified Coach John Ross. I found the course to be well maintained and the instruction program to be well thought out in how it's delivered. Coach Ross was an exemplary instructor whose enthusiasm for the game is infectious. He looks to spend quality time with each student and does his best to provide feedback to improve the way each individual plays. I highly recommend Coach Ross, this program, and course.

Years later they are still doing a great job with the conditions considering it's one of the busiest golf courses in Maryland. Fun walkable layout with mostly accessible holes with a really tough stretch on the back 9. I would say three bad holes: 10, 13, and 17. On 10 and 17, the fairways should be flattened out in my opinion. 13 is brutal for all but the best players. It would be a great par 5... But there are a lot of good holes out here. Good number of risk reward tee shots too.Practice facilities are okay. The range is severely sloped which probably helps protect balls from going right towards the first fairway. Half of the putting green is not very usable. Similar to the one at Whiskey Creek. But unlike Whiskey Creek, you won't see slopes that severe out here. The people who work here know this place has a reputation of slow rounds, which has been true in my experience. On weekends expect 5 hour round. But they go out of their way to be obnoxious about pace. My last experience had two guys in a cart trying to rush a group four separate times. I think they could split up and actually try and spot golf balls to help move things along.Be sure to keep an eye out on the leagues and high school groups going out on weekday afternoons.

Some employees are fine but recently seems like they hired some high schooler cart boys who love to obnoxiously yell near the driving range when customers are still hitting. The pros and employees seem to permit it. Quality definitely has fallen downhill. It seemed to mainly be one high school kid/employee that was screaming any chance he got near the range but I can't believe they would tolerate it.

Supposedly because of Covid protocols the are no water jugs on the course, even as the temperatures rise to the 90s, also the place is over priced, $87 yikes, it ain't that great

Well groomed and great driving range. Really only need to add a chipping area.

One of the best muni’s in the State. Greens firm and fair. Memorable layout. Coudos to the staff- the batteries to the remote for my electric bag cart died on hole 3. the Marshall called the pro shop… they found some replacements and a member of the staff ran them out to me. Hard to find that kind of service anywhere.

I visited Falls Road GC today for a lesson. I was really treated so well by everyone in the pro shop! I had a great time taking a lesson and I plan to be back again and again!

I got stabbed by a rusty fair bunker rake handle when I was here. Some fairways are in terrible condition. Came here on a Sunny day, thunder alarms were blown at clubhouse, some people finished but most kept playing. My group kept playing and the ranger picked up my tee shot to stop us while everyone else on the course kept playing. Never coming back.

Played 10 September. The course is in rough shape. A large number of fairways were in very bad shape---bare, patchy and blackish mats of rotting grass. Many tee boxes could have been sand traps. Areas in front of greens lacked playable grass surfaces. Greens however were in good shape. Play from the rough and you will have a better golf experience until they get the course in shape.

Great staff. Friendly atmosphere. Only four stars because the fairways were a bit rough this year.

Course is in good shape usually, but the people are pretty rude here. Most of the staff I have talked to are pretty rude. Even the people I get paired up with are rude half the time. The pace is always slow, never seen a ranger out when I go.
