“This is a wonderful little store. I've been shopping here for 15+ years, mostly to buy bird feeding supplies, but also books, puzzles, cards, etc. They have the best selection of products for birds, plus a wide variety of nature-related gifts and other merchandise. They pack a lot into a small space. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ready to offer good advice and to carry my bags of seed to my car, and I've often swapped bird sightings with the owners. I appreciated how they found ways to stay open safely during the pandemic, with clearly stated policies, pre-ordering, and contact-free pickups.”

“Love this shop! It’s a great place to shop year-round, but they are just perfection for holiday gifts. They have a mix of Christmas, Hanukkah, and general holiday goods as well as great regular gifts for birthdays, teacher gifts, etc. the ladies working here are so good at helping me find meaningful gifts for everyone on my list. I get so burnt out during holiday shopping sometimes and they are so helpful in finding something special. Just a relaxing, welcoming environment to shop in.”

“I just popped in because I happened to be in the neighborhood and I must say, this is a really really good store. A lot of it is stationary, but they also have a huge selection of Plush, Model kits, figures and other merch from a myriad of different series. And while I’m not really a fan of K-Pop, if you are there’s certainly a wide selection of K-Pop merch as well. I even managed to pick up this sick Minus One Godzilla figure for around 30 bucks. Also the woman at the counter was so nice and even listened to my story about how hyped I was when Godzilla Won an Oscar and How I hope Transformers One gets Best Animated Picture this year. All in all a very Positive Otaku experience And I wholeheartedly recommend checking this place out.”

“The Blue House has been a Bethesda staple for cool gift items for 30 years! The store moved from its original location further down Woodmont Ave. several years ago.
Once you walk into The Blue House, you will be enchanted by all of the local and region-themed gifts available ranging from decorative pillows to unique cookbooks, candles and other decorative items.
There is something for everyone in this quaint gift shop. Their children’s section is well-stocked with various toys, books and trinkets.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Parking can be a little limited depending on when you go. There is street parking and a public parking garage nearby.”
“I'm from out of state and wish we had this store in my city. Unfortunately, I was getting on a plane so I couldn't buy much bc I didn't have room for my carry-on.... “The staff and owner of this sweet shop went ABOVE AND BEYOND to embroider something last minute for Christmas. The staff and owner are lovely. They make their own candles (not a scented candle person, usually too stinky) but theirs are perfectly balanced and natural - and are made by women who are in need (I bought two). Lovely linens, robes, jewelry, etc. I will be recommending this sweet shop to all my friends.”

“I purchased an arrangement today for 4th of July same day delivery and everything was perfectly fine I thought it wasn’t able to do it since is a holiday but they work really fast and also they are kind/professional. I called over the phone to see if it was delivered and asked to change some things about my order and Mr.Mark helped me out to make that happen!. If you have a bad experience in the past at this store ;is fine. Nothing in life is perfect some people don’t work as good as others and we still respect them.Just give them a try ( applies to me too) I had some issues here in the past but they have some new good staff at this location now! “I ordered an Edible Arrangement from Edible Arrangements (1400 Chain Bridge Road, Mclean, VA for delivery to Vienna, VA for my granddaughter's high school graduation. I asked for it to be delivered after 4:00. The arrangement was gorgeous. It arrived on time. The fruit was fresh. My granddaughter loved it and was very surprised! “I had a good experience with this location. After I placed an order I learned that someone was allergic to certain fruits. I called and Rosie answered and swapped out the fruit with other delicious items. The tray arrived on time and the fruit and cheesecakes were delicious.”

Quincy street and explained that I wanted to make it special for the seniors and if they could assist me with creating an arrangement for me to pick up.
