I called the branch at 1:30 this afternoon. I could not talk to a human, but was told I could leave a message. I left my name and phone number. By 3pm I still had not received a call back, so I called again, and left another message. Again, no call back. This was about a time-sensitive matter that requires their intervention. When the bank was SunTrust it was better. Service seems to have really declined since the merger.

I don’t know why people are complaining about this branch. I been there maybe 10 times and team are amazing knowledgeable helpful and cares about customers. I talk to Anna for some CD she was so amazing explaining to me how it’s work and how she can save money for me.Thank you Potomac team for amazing service and for caring about your customers!

I had the WORST business banking experience of my life at this branch (my neighborhood branch). I was trying to complete a simple ACH transfer that should have taken 10 minutes or less. After more than 45 minutes of rude, racist behavior, I left frustrated and nearly in tears.The manager was rude. The woman banker was rude. The male banker, Peter Tivade was the most offensive. He asked me to remove my glasses and mask to prove I was who I said I was - and proceeded to tell me he knew it was was “offensive” to even ask me such a question. Frustrated, I left the bank branch without finishing the transaction. I drove to another branch in Gaithersburg. Everyone there was polite, friendly, and respectful. They processed my transaction within 10 minutes.I should not have leave my neighborhood and drive 20 minutes out of my way to another bank branch to be treated with dignity and respect. I will be moving my account to another bank.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. John the Manager very RUDE. Worst customer service I have ever experienced, I will no longer bank with Truist because the lack of professionalism I have received.

Today was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.Had a appointment with Anne the bank manager .Waited at her office door for five minutes without a hello or acknowledging me.I had to go back home because forgot a document .I came back 20 minutes later.Ann told me to wait another five minutes. Another person shows up at her door and she goes to help them with there issue.I finally get to have her look into my matter.Very rude and unprofessional.At the end of this nightmare I told that she never greeted me and that I had made appointment.Ann stated she had know idea I had a appointment.I stated then why did I make a appointment last Friday over the internet.Ann stated that she was done with me and started working on her computer.I will be taking my banking to another bank.Started when they were called Crestar Bank then Suntrust Bank and now Truist.

I have been banking at this branch for 15 years and i frequent the bank 2-3 times/week for various needs. Odette is an unbelievable asset to this bank and i never had any issue with her or any of the tellers or management until the merger with B B & T. For the last year, it has been a nightmare to deal with this branch. Despite going to the bank numerous times every week, even after seeing and working with the same new tellers for months, tellers would put me through ridiculous steps to get basic tasks done. Even simple deposits started taking forever. And emails never get returned, despite sending and re-sending. As an example, i got a letter saying my direct connect banking was going to be shut down unless i "reenroll" by going to a link in the letter. When you typed the link into a browser, you got a notice saying the page is not available. This was fixed a week later, but how unprofessional! 4 Emails concerning the situation never got returned. After coming in, the manager said there was nothing to worry about. A few days later, the link was up and went to a page that seemed to indicate this was in fact something that needed to be addressed. I do not blame the tellers or managers. I think the merged entity is trying to save money by serving a customer base that is probably twice what it was with the same (or lower) staffing levels. When i angrily complained about not having my multiple emails returned, the teller told me i wouldn't believe the backlog of emails waiting for her attention. I have 13 accounts so switching banks is not that easy. If it were, I WOULD DO IT IMMEDIATELY!!!

Banks are usually banks, but the people who work here are absolutely amazing. They are extremely nice, knowledgable and make you feel welcome. Can't think of anything wrong with that.

This has been my bank for years. Most of the tellers are nice but the Indian looking lady. Depending on the day, sometimes she's ok but most of the time she acts like she hates her job and don't want to be there. Today, unfortunately she had to assist me and I regret coming to this bank cause she just ruined my day with her attitude. Think twice before going to this bank.

My experience at this Suntrust and dealing with Taimoor has been second to none. This man is always there to help you with questions you need answered and is always a friendly greeter when you walk in and walk out of the bank. Wish more people were like him!
