I gave you two stars because the gentleman that was working the pizza stand was nice and helpful. But Natalie told me she had cheese and pepperoni in the oven. I stood and walked around for about 15 minutes waiting for the pizza to be done. For her to leave and the gentleman asked me what I was waiting for and he said it was gonna be 20 minutes I said no she just told me that it was in the oven. Of course it wasn’t in the oven. I get to waste half of my lunch break for no apparent reason.

Just moved from Boston, have made two trips to Harris Teeter. Overall very positive reaction; great selections on all foods, fish, meat, etc. Both times cashiers were exceptionally helpful, friendly and welcoming. Their names were Annie and Corrie. 4 stars instead of 5 because disappointed in produce. Strawberries, peaches and oranges were not very good and a bunch of each went bad in 2-3 days.

The staff pharmacist Sandy Lin is very unprofessional to treat their patient . I am a pharmacist myself and never been treated this way. First the technician gave me 1 hour 40 min waiting time and after speaking with pharmacist she came back and said we don't even have a medicine and come back after 4 days since they just order their medications 3 times a week. Very inconvenient and very unprofessional

We ordered a birthday cake on line and it came out beautiful. The nice lady in the bakery department mentioned she was a trainee when I called to confirm but it still looked A +. Appreciate the bake shop doing special cake orders during this crazy time. My daughter loved the cake. Thank you HT and the bakery team and your trainee will be just fine. She thought it wouldn't look as good as in the past but it looked even better.

Normally the visit to HT is pleasant; today was not. Seems like those stocking shelves and taking inventory were in the way all day. It was more important to them to stock shelves then to allow me to shop. HT was out of a few items, which was a bit unusual. The deli was understaffed and I had to wait a while. The guy in the eggs and cheese section is always stocking shelves at prime time shipping hours, which is a bit of a nuisance. Finally, the checked was a bit curt about bagging and insisted on knowing if we had anything organic. Who cares, honestly? Roma tomatoes are usually fresh; many were rotten

Horrible store, horrible management. They had silk soy milk advertised on sale and didn't have it in stock. I asked the manager if she could check other stores. She said no. I'm done with Harris Teeter

Sign in Floral Department: "If customer brings own balloon..." then details pricing based on size. 'Can I get this balloon blown up?' "No, we don't fill customer balloons." 'But there's a sign there...' "We're out of helium." Kind of reminds me of that PopCopy sketch from the Chappelle Show....

I generally enjoy shopping at this Harris Teeter location in Park Potomac, and have found the to be cashiers very professional, pleasant and helpful. However I had an experience with one of the cashiers, which I believe should be shared. I asked a gray haired lady a simple question regarding a request I had, and she proceeded to argue with me regarding what I could do to get my request met. Coming from a customer service background myself, I was appalled. This type of behavior does not benefit the store, or the customers. Very disappointing.

(3.75) ~ Good Overall Conventional Grocery Store. Not as big as other HT's but should have most of the items you're looking for...one plus is they carry the Simple Truth Brand of Products;)

It's like walking into a fish market. No matter what time is it, 8 AM or 8 PM, a powerful smell of raw seafood slams your face as soon as you step foot in this place. I understand they have a small section for seafood but that shouldn't mean that the whole place should smell like the ocean 24/7. If it wasn't for the horrible smell, this place would get 4 or 5 stars.

I went to Harris Teeter today and was happy to find three items which I can never find at my local Giant. They have Diet Splash, International Delight Sugar Free French Vanilla coffee creamer and chicken drummettes. The Giant food store in Cabin John Village only rarely has the coffee creamer and never has Diet Splash or chicken drummettes.I will be doing much more shopping at Harris Teeter and much less at my local Giant Food store!

I like Harris Teeter, it's like a regular grocery store and specialty grocery store. It's not the cheapest grocery store and thus their selection of items reflects this. The stock chosen is quality not quantity, and yet the selection is good. HT often offers products I've not seen before, such as specialty oils and vinegars. They offer air-dried age meat, lots of fresh seafood (do ask the very friendly staff about what they have in the back, not all of is out front!), prime meat selection is also available!, great selection of deli items, sushi made on site and in front of you, hot & fresh deli sandwiches, pizza, and grab n go meals. Bakery is LaBrea products and is also decent, but not amazing. Desserts I think come in frozen like other markets, not made on site. Decent selection of fresh flowers, not cheap, but good quality and other quick gifts are a plenty.HT does a great job on their sales too! Their store brand products are also good. The store is laid out kinda funky and they too are guilty of putting too much stuff in the aisles to go around, especially in the frozen & dairy section, it bottlenecks and lacks good flow. The staff is what makes this place shine, they are friendly, which is very rare for Rockville. Staff is visible and ask often if you need assistance, but not pushy or annoying either. Yes, lines can be long, but there is at least more than one person checking people out and self-service is an option. No store is immune to long lines! The lady in the deli refused to sell me a product that did not meet her standards, such as being to fatty or not worthy of the price. I appreciated that! The checker went above and beyond to wrap up my poultry to not drip everywhere too. When I had an item ring up wrong, they did the right thing, apologize! Other stores grunt and roll their eyes when you catch them being devious (yep, read your receipts, this happens at every store), but HT gives you the item for free and refunds the price to you, no other store is going to do that! And likely why I only had to go to customer service once for an error. All HT stores seem to be the same and I shop their regularly.

I went to the fish/meat counter on 6/13, staffed by a Caucasian guy in a black face covering and hat. He served me the raw fish with his bare hands and glove on only one hand. I asked him to please change into two gloves and serve me again. He was obviously annoyed which bothered me not one bit. In this time of COVID how dare he! I reported the incident to an acting manager, a young woman at the front desk, who assured me that she would speak to him. Without supervision I have little hope that he will comply with health guidelines that he should have been following , COVID or no COVID. In a time when there is unemployment he should be sacked for posing a health menace to customers and find someone with brains and a conscience. Let him go sell beer at Trump rallies. As for me, there are still other supermarkets to choose from. Peter, MD

If you are looking for convenience and a well stocked supermarket, then Harris Teeter is your place. There is always tons of fresh produce and the sale items are a real steal. They have an awesome salad bar and it is huge. I usually go for the Caesar salad and add some chicken and veggies.( Sorry, the salad bar is gone. It is a casualty of the virus. ) The bakery section is great. I loved my fresh challah and their jumbo oatmeal and raspberry cookies are too die for. They never last more than a day in my house. I also like their in house products, like their honey or milk. It is cheaper and it excellent quality. They also have a great selection of meats and cheeses. I can always find my favorite flavor yogurt or healthy chicken pot pie. The people who work there are the sweetest and most helpful people around. So close by, well stocked, and super nice people, what more could you ask for? Maybe, a little less costly? But, you get what you pay for and I am happy to keep supporting Harris Teeter.
