My experience with pharmacies, for the most part, has been routine however, I have had some pretty negative experiences after having several major surgeries due the beginning of the opioid crisis and bias based on my demographic. All understandable, but unfortunate for me at the time. The pharmacist and her staff at Safeway are fast, helpful, and kind under normal circumstances but are always willing to go above and beyond when the situation calls for it. Meaning, they don’t just present you with a problem and leave you to resolve it, they care about helping you find solutions and help you deal with insurance companies that don’t like to pay for anything.

Usually good. Staff could use some training on bedside manner. Not exactly warm and friendly. I just had an interaction and I wanted to document it here so they know that I know they’re lying. ?. I spoke to a pharmacist yesterday and she was sure that my medication would be ready by 4 o’clock today. Then today, tech gives me a completely different story and he doesn’t know when it’s coming in….When I asked the technician why the pharmacist was so sure I’d have it today, he stammered and delayed and acted as if he didn’t understand the question. BTW, This is a tell when someone is lying. They delay bc they are trying to come up with an answer. I repeated myself, and he gave me some gobbledygook that she just didn’t know it was on back order. So the pharmacist couldn’t tell but you, the tech, can? To be clear, I do believe the medication is on back order, but I am 99% sure there was enough to fill my prescription, and they simply gave it to someone else who was actually behind me…I also think you’re dealing with some heavily indoctrinated pharmacists there. I asked about the Covid vax and if people in Calvert were still taking them last time I picked up. The numbers for them are way down everywhere and, as most people know, Calvert has a population that isn’t too interested In them lol. She got a HUGE defensive attitude and was like Yeah ACTUALLY all the time. I just laughed at her and walked away. Now the next time I go to get meds, the above happened… coincidence? Lol. Maybe. Anyway, just an overwhelming bitter vibe from that place and it’s been that way for a while.

I literally stood at the customer service desk for more than 10 minutes and not one person helped me. even though there worth four different people that walked by me and looked at me and never asked me if I needed anything. not to mention the two people are standing at the register that did not ask me if I needed anything. this place is absolutely horrible and I would not recommend this to anybody looking for customer service of any kind

Pharmacy personnel is seriously lacking. The pharmacist has a God complex, refusing to fill legally written prescriptions. Even after being directed to by our doctor AND insirance company. They also never have anything in stock and wait til the very last minute to work on prior approvals. Causing serious life threatening issues. With no remorse. I think they are completely incapable and incompetent. I would rate 0 stars if possible.

Vicki is a very helpful and efficient cashier. I appreciate her providing details on when my gas rewards will expire, to use them before x date and explaining that I dont have to redeem all at once at the pump. I wouldn't have had any clue.

Today a cashier put her hands on my breast just because I was in the express line with 15 itens. I had 2 different shop. She came out from the cashier and said “I am doing this this time, but I am on the express line” It was so unprofessional and embarrassing. She always treat all the customers so bad. It was an extremely bad situation. I feel sorry but Safeway Prince Frederick is getting worse and worse treating customers like that. I just told to her, don’t touch me! In the middle of this pandemic situation I can’t believe theirs associate doesn’t have the right training.

I hate calling the prince frederick brach and picking up my meds from there because when they have it refills they tell you they don't start filling prescription till after 11:00 am some people have to work and tell you I guess you will have to wait till you get done work! And if it's a narcotic they won't fill it till the day it's due on top of that there's an older lady that is the pharmacist that's always asks you why are you on all this medication! Um hello there's a thing called the hippa law she doesn't fallow she thinks she's a doctor and she's not she's rude and she's disrespectful!!!
