“As a teen, brought my family's pets to visits, and now bringing my own pets to visits as an adult. Have always encountered excellent care, and the staff/doctors are all friendly, helpful and honest with you. I actually have closer vet clinics to my current residence, but I have had such a positive experience at this clinic, I can't imagine going somewhere else. Also, when my family cat died, I was really heartbroken. I remember getting a sweet card from Dr. Murray and it meant a lot. To me, this speaks to how much they care.”

“I just lost my precious dachshund, Rusty. I have to talk of my experience at TLC. Dr. Lucas and I worked together when Rusty was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and later, kidney disease. We walked a tightrope, as Dr. Lucas described it, making medical decisions for both conditions. The heart condition alone usually has a year or less life expectancy. Rusty went on to 1 year and 8 months for me and my baby. In addition, the ladies loved on him sometimes calling him the Rust Man :) I even ended up going to a Vet ER before TLC opened, due to a breathing issue which can occur with the heart condition, and one of these wonderful ladies came and sat with me for several hours when she found out and got off work. I can't begin to describe the wonderful love shown to my boy at TLC. When he passed, there were tears from all, and Dr. Lucas called from his vacation to express his condolences. You will never go wrong bringing your sweet baby to TLC for Pets.”

“Dr. Wolf, Bess, Laurie, and the rest of the team were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! ♥️ We brought our cat to VCA due to an illness that needed urgent attention/treatment and they got us in the very next morning on a Saturday (even though we had never been here before and I called them late Friday evening). They also worked with us on the finacial side and we were able to get our cat the medications she desperately needed to get back to her healthy, happy self! She's back to doing all the things-- lounging, basking in the sun, eating, purring, and licking her plastic bags! THANKS VCA of Columbia!!! ?”

“Took my dog here for the first time yesterday and fell in love! My dog has never liked the vet and tends to get a little aggressive. The way the doctor handled him yesterday instead of allowing him to handle her like the other vets I've been too helped solidify my decision to make this my new vet! And the prices are reasonable unlike Banfield who want an arm and a leg for the exam then try to give you every other service besides what you came for!”

I use to live in the city and moved to the county... so driving back is not convenient... I do it because of my trust in Kendall and Dr.McIntyre... they so so professional and have helped me take care of my 3 pups and now two. Im grateful to have them!”

“I am very grateful for the care and attention given to my Lab, Sophie. She had a problem that was last minute and my regular vet could not fit her in for several days despite the fact that I was a long time customer of theirs. Howard County Animal Hospital fit us in easily and then ended up having to do emergency surgery the next day. They were very kind to my pet and took the time to explain everything carefully and completely. They also showed great compassion to her throughout. I have always been happy with my original vet, but I was so impressed with their care that I have decided to continue using their services. Thanks for all you do for animals!!”
“YAY! Love this place <3 You will too. Willis, just had his 12 wk check up. He was All ears... This is Our 5th Shepherd now. We would never go anywhere else! Doctor Reiter and her staff are great with Our pets, we have cats also :) The Hospital offers a lot of things including a small boarding kennel. When we vacation Our dogs stay there and are treated like family. Always clean, mostly on time, sick pets take more time, so schedules can run over. That being said, I'd want the doctor to take her time; if it was my sick pet. If you want a Dr. that treats your pets, like she would treat her own, then go to Carrolltown Vet!! Not some BIG corporate place that sees you as a $. And yes, We named Our dog after the Different Strokes Show...."What you talkin bout, Willis?"”

“Hands down the best vet experience I've had for my cat. Not only is staff friendly and knowledgeable, but they clearly care for the animals and even have a couple clinic cats that lounge around and help to welcome visitors.
It just makes sense that a Cat-only clinic would be the best around when it comes to cats!
It is a bit of a drive from me -- but absolutely worth it. My cat recently needed some extractions and cleaning and I got 3 opinions from 3 vets.
The first vet wanted to charge 3x as much as what Catonsville Cat Clinic did. The second vet wanted to charge 5x as much AND take out all of my cat's teeth which was just unnecessary. Finally, I went to Catonsville Cat Clinic and they offered a conservative approach, only taking out the teeth that needed to come out according to X-Ray. At the same time, their cost was affordable and reasonable.
Highly recommend for any cat owners out there, you will not be disappointed.”
“My pom went in for his dental. Usually my vet does the cleaning but his k9 was lose, and I was referred there. Dr. Kim was awesome and comforting. She explained everything in detail and why he needed all his teeth remove. She was so sweet to both me and my pom. After the surgery, she sent me pictures of before, during and after, which I very much appreciate. I also like that they are very thorough with the pre-op. The front desk was very nice. Overall, I had a good experience. For improvement -- with the amount of money you pay, I feel like we all should have a red carpet treatment. As soon as you walk into the place, it says something about if your dog poop/pee, it’s your responsibility to clean up. I think they should have a warmer welcome sign. As a pet parent, I’m nervous as it is. If our dogs poop/pee, help us clean it up especially the amount we’re paying. While we’re holding our babies who could be in pain and nervous, let us just focus on that. My poms never poop and pee in a doctor’s office before, but I feel for other pawrents. Lastly, I do think the price is outrageous. It was almost $5000!”

“I have been with him since I had my dog in 2001. Sadly, when my dog could no longer survive him and his staff was so kind and loving in helping my family and the loss of our family dog. Fast forward to 2018 and my trio of cats! He has taken care of every animal I love with so much love and care. Dr. Benson has retired and that is very much bittersweet. I’m glad he is finally getting his much needed rest.”
