Two kitties from the humane society. All tired out from playing together. We just got the tuxedo cat last week and he has become best buddies with our 3-year-old (who we picked up during COVID times). Purr Face has been renamed Legolas, Lego for short. The folks that work at the humane society are amazing! They work so hard to keep the little critters happy. And now one of those critters is making my family happy!

Was interested in a pup, filled out an application, few days later I get a call back with no information, just saying to give them a call back. Meanwhile, the dog I was interested in became unavailable on their site. So figured I was the one they picked to adopt. RETURNED their call, just for them to tell me the dog was already adopted. You couldn't have said that in the voicemail? Waste of my time and got my hopes up. Thanks.

These workers are totally dedicated to the animals. They work hard, and love even harder. Both of my Beagles came from here, and I couldn't be happier. ?❤️

They care with everything they have and beyond. Donate anything from supplies to services, volunteer.....money is not the only thing the shelter needs but it helps as do the many other items. Money they dont have to spend on daily function can be used for treatment of animals which is a major expense. Help your neighbor if they are struggling so they may keep their pet. Report abuse. The shelter is a haven but it takes a village.

Scruffy had a large tumor. It had been removed surgically once. Unfortunately it grew back. I hesitate to put pictures online. It was past gross. You couldn't cover it with a bandage. Scruffy was in obvious pain, blind and having mobility issues. Vet reached a point where there were no options. It was not an easy option.Scruffy spent last few months on 1st floor where my bedroom was. He couldn't get upstairs. His navigation was like a slow speed bumper car.Caroline County Humane allowed us to be present with Scruffy. And yet though he is gone. We still find his "gifts" scattered throughout house & in my 99 Dodge Ram Pickup.

Adopting Koa from the Caroline County Humane Society was one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life! Thank you so much to the wonderful staff and volunteers who took care of him and nursed him back to health. Despite being misunderstood and overlooked for months you could see the good in him. I wish we would of found each other sooner! Thank you for all that you do for all of the animals that come through your doors. Please adopt, volunteer, and donate to this amazing little shelter. Five stars will never be enough.

I inquired about a dog named Tyson on petfinder that was located at CCHS. Within an hour I received a call from Donna giving me more information on him and what the next steps would be for adoption. We set up a time to do a meet and greet with our kids and current dog who we also rescued from a shelter. today was the meet and greet and everything went so great. Donna and Hailey are some of the sweetest / informative people I have ever met! The entire adoption process was a breeze and we got to bring our sweet boy home today! As soon as we got home we gave him a tour of his new home along with some treats. He immediately found his food and water bowls and he has made himself right at home already. Rosie is so excited to have a friend and can’t wait to be able to play with Tyson! Tyson is currently napping in his crate and loving his new home so far !!!!Thank you CCHS!!!!????

May I direct you to their Facebook page and the poor woman trying to get her dog back, can PROVE it's her dog, and still being gold she can't have him back. First he's up for adoption and then he's suddenly got a medical issue so he's in the care of their vet. What is wrong with you people? Have some compassion! It's CLEARLY her dog!
