“This store is a gem - both for everyday beautiful pieces and for designing custom pieces. I designed 4 customs pieces with the Shelter team and from start to finish they were patient, helpful, and insightful, offering expert opinions and recommendations about what would best protect and represent my stones and my vision. I could not have been happier with my experience!”

“OMG my favorite sword shop!!!!!
The first thing I ever brought with money I earned myself was a pocket watch from here. It ended up being super sentimental and I wear it every day to remind myself what I've achieved ?
Sydney you the best!!!”
“I like the unique prints and post cards but I wish I had got a copy of my receipt. There is this “support local business” pink sticker labeled at $3 in my bag which I know I didn’t pick. Four post cards and a sticker came up to $20ish seems about right anyways! Friendly services and clean store!”

“I love shopping at Steadfast Supply. They have such unique and fun items in their store. I never leave empty handed. They source incredible greeting cards too and it's my first stop in the neighborhood for any card I need for personal or work scenarios!”
“Attended an event at the Reach Center at the Kennedy Center. Too much walking. but wonderful vibe. The folks at the gift shop helped me find my event (I was lost for at least 20 minutes). Lol! The staff is SUPER helpful !”
“Outstanding environment, this is the best place to visit after your, visit to the White House., The staff is fully ingage when you walk in store. I've been a customer since 2013. ANDY HARLAND, LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA USA USA ??”

“Doing Nisey’s is like being on a treasure hunt. You will find something that satisfies your desire, need or want. While shopping, the vibe you experience is like therapy. A real feel good place. The proprietor (Jackie) is informative, creative, sweet and a true jewel.??”
“An amazing place to stumble into during a hot girl walk, perfect for finding a unique card for your long-distance best friend in Europe. A HUGEEEEE shoutout to Monique (hope I’m spelling it correctly) for beautifully handwriting my message inside the card”
“The only smoke shop in DC worth going to! The staff are so kind and incredibly knowledgeable. Most importantly though… the vibes. They are the best. No where else gets my business—if you’re considering checking this place out, I highly recommend it!”

“Wonderful service. I called about a special gift and they held it for me until I could get there. They have unique items you won't find elsewhere - perfect when buying a gift for people who are difficult to buy for.”
“Happened upon this sweet little spot when strolling through Capitol Hill yesterday. The shop is above a beautiful stationary and card store with equally lovely items. Christine, the owner, is French and listening to her lovely lilt while conversing with another French speaking patron drew me up the stairs immediately. Her space is filled with unique gifts she merchandises from Paris, as well as other fair trade items that support women working in remote locations across the globe. I picked up a beautiful scarf for my momma, as I try to find one for her whenever I'm traveling. Quaint and reasonably priced, there's a little something for everyone, but truly the best part of all is Christine. She's warm and friendly and we immediately fell into a lengthy conversation that made my whole day. If you ever wanted an immediate French bestie, this is the place to find her. Thank you Christine, and Vive la France! ??”
“I found this business online while on the hunt for a wooden wine holder shaped as a duck for my girlfriend's mother as she had added this to her Christmas wishlist. (Yes, I know it sounds silly). I'm skeptical when it comes to online shopping with the way the world is today but I hoped for the best & ended up purchasing the item. What led me to their site was the fact that the product was way cheaper than the competitors & their shipping timeframe was promising. About a week later, I received the item and it was perfect! Exactly as described, got here quickly, and didn't cost an arm or a leg to do so! Very satisfied customer!”

“Always a great selection of cool NASA items, from pins and stickers to jewelry, apparel, and home items. Prices are very reasonable, some items are pricey but nothing feels overpriced.”
“A Mano is the number one gift resource in DC. I had no idea what to get our clients and friends for the holidays this year. I walked into A Mano in Georgetown and Mary took care of everything, quickly gave me ideas and ranges - a monogrammed throw was a big hit, along with inventive items you're not going to find anywhere else. Gift wrapping was pro level. Thanks also to Stacey for help via text - great service!”
“I love this store, both the Shirlington and Wharf locations! They have a variety of unique gift ideas - but my favorite is their selection of vintage jewelry 5 stars all the way!”
“The staff and owner of this sweet shop went ABOVE AND BEYOND to embroider something last minute for Christmas. The staff and owner are lovely. They make their own candles (not a scented candle person, usually too stinky) but theirs are perfectly balanced and natural - and are made by women who are in need (I bought two). Lovely linens, robes, jewelry, etc. I will be recommending this sweet shop to all my friends.”
“This is actually one of the best museum gift shops I see in DC. There are so many options, the designs are unique and cute (not just regular, boring museum merch), and they support payment via WeChat and Zhifubao.”
“Actually a pretty solid gift shop in a pretty good location. Our toddler wasn't really crazy about anything in there, it seems like it's definitely more focused on adults that like history which is totally understandable.
The gift shop is relatively small but fun to peruse. And looking back at our trip, I'm glad we didn't really focus on getting anything there. There are SO MANY gift shops in the area, just keep that in mind.”
“Cute shop with a wide range of fun items for the whole family. Got some cute NASA logo baby booties as a gift for a friend. The puffer jackets were $160 and very thin. Unless they're made with space technology or mylar, you're better off buying some NASA logo patches and ironing them on a North Face or generic puffer jacket.”
“Was in need of quick items to gift somebody who recently lost a loved one. I am a fan of quickness and efficiency in this store hit its mark perfectly! Excellent customer service as well.”

“This is the best gift shop in town. They have everything that you would want for a gift to send to your family or friends or even kids I would highly recommend stopping by”
“Passionately Pets provided excellent walking services on our recent vacation. Our sitter, Jeff, was courteous and seemed confident in his ability to handle our sometimes obstreperous 95 lbs German Shepherd. Unlike other walking services we have used, Jeff actually walked our dog for most of the 30 minute visit. Would definitely recommend.”
