Hours: American Legion Post 86 is a spacious, two-level venue not far from the Safeway in Wheaton. The first floor features a central bar with alcoholic beverages, sodas, and snack foods like chips, surrounded by tables for eating and drinking. It has a room for live entertainment bands and a huge billiards room in the back. The lower level is a huge all-purpose room for events like weddings, memorial services, birthdays, and holiday celebrations, complete with a large stage and a full bar. The hall is clean and spacious, and the bathrooms are a good size and very clean. The staff is amazing, providing wonderful service. Experiences at the post include enjoyable shrimp dinners, drinks, and live music. It is a place to have a great time, kick back, and relax, offering the greatest hospitality. There is a cover charge of $5.00 to $10.00 for seeing bands on special occasions, and fees apply to rent the lower hall for private events. All are welcome, including members, family of veterans, or those knowing the bands playing. The community is encouraged to support the local American Legion Post 86 for a great customer experience.
