I will never go back to Bethesda MRI again. The MRI tech was extremely rude and condescending when I dared to ask her a question. After the MRI was finished, she was giving me some directions which I could NOT hear since I still had the ear plugs and a headphone on my head. So I asked her to repeat what she had said to me when she was in her office and she answered me in a very condescending voice and was completely unprofessional to the point of raising her voice in an angry tone. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. This employee should be retrained, especially since there are MANY reviews with other customers complaining about the rudeness issues in this office. On a positive note, the gentleman working in the front office was polite and helpful. Bethesda MRI should hire MORE people like him!

The reviews had me scared to come here but I’m so glad that I still came.... I had a amazing experience..! The front desk guy was very friendly and pleasant as soon as I walked in and that made me feel a lot better about my visit..! Once they called me to the back for my MRI they allowed my wife to sit with me witch was amazing because I was nervous... Lisa was super sweet she played some great music on Pandora while I was getting tested and she had a great spirit that made me feel even more comfortable..... I really had a phenomenal experience...! I def would recommend this location.!

Rude technician had to get appointment rescheduled multiple times. Would not recommend if you are trying to get in and out and have a good experience. There is a really good imaging place in friendship heights Maryland great staff.

Horrible, horrible, care. I was told I would not be seen for my scheduled appointment because he had other clients who were paying in cash versus my insurance company. This was from the Dr. Himself. The tech then was incredibly rude and never brought me the blanket so I was freezing the whole time. I hope no one is ever treated this way, they are not in this business to heal people. That was made very clear.

I have been to both locations several times in the last 10 years and continue to be amazed at the cleanliness of the offices and the kind staff. Kevin who did my MRI was amazing and gave clear expectations and reassurance about safety, answered questions, all with a friendly happy attitude. Same for the tech whose name I did not get that did my xray. Dr. Mark is the best radiologist out there. He is genuinely interested in his patients, their issues, and his work. He is happy to talk with you if you choose to discuss their findings and is an exceptional provider of service. I have never found this at any other radiology center hence Bethesda MRI will always be my first choice. Thank you to everyone there!

Had a ct scan, which I guess was properly done. But the report was not transmitted to my doctor for over 3 weeks. Their fax wasn't working. How could they go so long not knowing that?

This is a review for their Chevy Chase location on Wisconsin Avenue. Went on 2 separate occasions for a spine MRI and a hip MRI. First visit was standard. Second visit was excellent. The technician Sayid was kind and reassuring at my hesitation and nerves for the joint injection for the MRI with contrast. Dr. Newman performed the injections and I had no pain. After the MRI, Dr. Newman sat with me and patiently explained the images. I would return to this location and recommend.

Stay away. -- They did not provide adequate hearing protection, as the test involves of loud banging and other sounds in a tight tube. They declined to provide water right when the test started. They did not provide clear directions during the test. The waiting room is run-down; this should have been my cue to cancel. The bathroom is down the hall. -- I do NOT recommend. I should have checked reviews before going as there are other options in the area.

So many of the reviews seem solely good or solely bad, so I wanted to describe my more “middle of the road” experience.Pros: All of the staff were very professional and efficient. The office also called me back very quickly when I put in a request for an appointment and got me scheduled to come in the next day.Cons: The staff I interacted with were absolutely not friendly. No one was rude, but there wasn’t much in terms of bedside manner. Everything I said seemed to inconvenience them.This was my first MRI experience, so I don’t have anything to compare it to directly, but I have had a lot of medical experiences over the years. Overall, this office felt like it was run more like a business than a doctors office. If you want quick and efficient, absolutely come here. My appointment was supposed to start at 8:45, they saw me early and I was done by 9. If you’re the kind of person who gets nervous in medical settings or can have panic attacks, I might recommend somewhere else.

Horrible experience. I brought my mom for a MRI, and I was treated very disrespectful by the technician in charge of my mom. A woman who works in the front desk was knocking the door and got mad at me for not opening the door. I didn't know she worked here.I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Horrible people!

Incredibly efficient, but most importantly, compassionate service from Dr. Mark and his entire staff. Dr. Mark came to meet me before the MRI and called me within 10 minutes of being done with the results. He only called because I had just left - he was hoping to see me and tell me in person! I don’t understand the bad reviews. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic.

I had a pretty decent experience coming here. The woman in the front was very helpful. I didnt wait very long maybe an extra 10-15 minutes after my appointment time. This was my very first time doing an MRI and they gave me headphones with music which is great and all but I couldnt hear anything during the scan because the machine is so loud. Apparently my mom said she did her MRI and they gave her ear plugs because of how loud the machine is me not knowing about that I went in and had to deal with that loud noise for 40 minutes. Other than that my experience was okay

This is a review for their Chevy Chase location, since this location does not appear on Google maps. I've had issues with these folks on three occasions. On one occasion it took them almost 6 months to pay us back for a copay they didn't need to collect. On a second occasion, the radiologist chatted with me before a CT scan and heard something that he thought meant I was depressed and went on for quite a while about trying to be happier in life. He totally misunderstood what I was saying. It was bizarre, because he didn't stop even when I told him that my life really couldn't be any happier. It was more like he was trying to counsel himself. Lastly, I had an X-ray that the radiologist said was normal. I've since had two specialists look at the x-ray and they can't figure out why the radiologist would think it's normal. Needless to say, I'm not going to use these folks again, even though their location is very convenient for me.

Front desk staff member today was extremely rude and unprofessional!!! I'm very surprised because his staff is usually pleasant but this young lady was by herself which I assume is due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She sat my cards unknowingly on the check-in counter. She was holding all phone calls on speakerphone where my mom and I could both clearly hear these patients who were calling in for appointments. I asked her if my disk was ready yet and in a mocking tone, she replied "No they are not ready yet, rolls her eyes and answers another call on speakerphone. I asked if she could mail them and she rudely replied, "Yeah". I asked what her name was and she ignored me. I mean the absolute WORST. She was not only violating the HIPAA rights of other patients but she was in no way acting like someone who values her job or Dr. Mark's business!
